Asia Garden — Restaurant in Ottawa

One of the chefs were pretty rude when my family and I came. We specifically asked for fried rice, chicken, and broccoli. The person assumed we asked for ONLY broccoli, and chicken even though we said rice as well. As the time came for us to pick up the food, that's where the dilemma commenced.

Like I said before, they thought we didn't ask for fried rice, so we added it to our order, then the total was higher than what they told us before. And as the person who spoke to us on the phone came, he just refused to serve us, and said we "Waisted their food."

A few days later, we ordered again, making sure they comprehended what we were saying. Not even the FOOD was pleasing. The rice was chewy and they were both very dry. I get it that we can all have bad days, but this was...

i have ordered from that place for close to 5 year now, since i moved to Ottawa. i have to say that it was really good. now after a few monts i decided to place an order for our familly diner. i will tell you that i was discusted by the food i received. first thing i smell when i open the general tao's chicken is mold, the egg roll tasted like old very old oil, the chicken fried rice had a burnt taste to it, the almond chicken guy ding looked very good except one of the vegetable in it was not fresh wich spoiled the overall taste, the spare ribst were dry and hard, the only thing that tasted the way i remembered was the sweet sour chicken ball. for an order of 80$ i expected more and now because of my experience i will never order...

I placed an order online for fried shimp and shrimp fried rice. I had explained I didn’t want my anything breaded hence why I didn’t want Tempura shrimp. When I came in to pick up the order it was breaded shrimp. I went to ask for a refund and he only offered me less then half of what I paid so I said I would go to the car with a decision within 2 seconds to speak to the other person I came with. I came back with the decision to take the food and leave the refund but when I came back they threw out the food and only gave me less then half of what I paid and didn’t give me my tip back.
