Garbage business, not sure how they're still open. I first tried this place over a year ago and told the staff I am gluten intolerant and vegetarian so I got a burrito bowl and the staff recommended the veggie soy product. I got it, ate it and sat with a painful brick in my stomach for the rest of the night. I looked it up on their website and lo, the soy product contains wheat. The staff really should be educated on allergens in their products, some people are so allergic to gluten they can be hospitalized for eating it. Today, to my idiocy, decided to give them another shot. I asked for a veggie burrito bowl again but the staff member working seemed utterly confused. Even though it says right on the menu above his head that you can save a certain number of calories if you don't get the tortillia, presumably you get a bowl/container. He said "A salad?", I said "Yeah, but with rice too." That was my mistake. I should have carefully explained this person's business practices to him. Anyway he went ahead and chucked a handful of lettuce in a HUGE styrofoam container then sprinkled, yes sprinkled, a little bit of rice on top like it was a garnish. Then added some tomatoes and other crap. Of course I got guacamole because I would be STARVED if I had not. He gave me a generous tablespoon slopped in the corner of the container and charged extra. Really, I think guacamole should be free if you're not getting meat. Anyway, that sucked. Can't believe I actually forked over $9 without at least asking for a little pinch more of lettuce. Was still hungry after I ate. Won't be going here again, I'll save my money for Mucho Burrito. They give a big bed of rice in their burrito bowls with all the fixings on top. They charge for guacamole too but it's usually a bit more than an...
Read moreTerrible experience. I asked for an allergy guide, they told me they didn't have one. I was about to leave when i saw the QR code for the allergy guide, i pointed it out to them and they shrugged. The food was awful, bland and soggy. They didnt use a slotted spoon for the black beans and it was gross. We asked for a small amount of salsa on my daughters small burrito instead they just slopped a full spoon on, same quantity as my husbands large burrito. They put very small amount of meat on. The staff just clearly didnt care. The tables were dirty, four out of five napkin dispensers were empty and one of the tables was falling apart (the top was like a teeter totter). I have been to other Bar Burritos and loved it, i can't believe how different it can be between locations. Unfortunately this was my husbands first time and a Bar Burrito and he said he'll never go again. I'm out $40 for a disgusting meal and I'm still hungry because they...
Read moreEvery time I go here I am more and more disappointed. There's only 2 staff members working during a lunch rush of 10+ people. The girl was running around like a chicken with her head cut off doing 3 different things at once, not able to keep up with what was happening. She was confusing to speak to as I saw multiple customers struggling with their orders. We were in there 25 minutes before even having our order taken. The only reason we stayed is that our lunch time was already going to run late so didn't have time to go elsewhere.
When I got up there were no black beans. How does a Mexican restaurant run out of black beans?? was told there was none in the back. They had no clean trays to make food on, they were re-using trays.
Last time we went in there the kid behind the counter had his headphones in while serving us and was obviously high as balls. Completely unprofessional.
Would not recommend and...
