I am doing a front entrance renovation at my house and was looking for a dumpster bin to throw the dirt and concrete that I am removing for the job. On the site it mentions “If you have a large construction, renovation, or landscaping project”, so I thought they would be perfect for my job. They drop off the bin and I fill it up quite a bit and then get a call on the pickup day. They told me the bin was too heavy and asked me why I put soil in it when the bin says not to. I am confused since there site specifically mentions landscaping and construction projects and I didn’t see anything on the bin. I then take a look at the bin and it does have a sign in the top corner which is not very visible that mentions a few things not accepted but does not mention soil. It does mention concrete but I did not see it and was not told about it before the project. They tell me they can come and remove the soil but it’s going to be an extra $590 for every truck that comes. I tell them I am not paying that as I was not told and if I knew I would have gone with someone else. The employee had the owner call me back and the owner was extremely reasonable and acknowledged it was there fault and that they would look after it with no extra charge. All the employees that came were friendly and the owner was reasonable considering the situation. The reason I am giving 3 stars is this situation should not have not have happened, the website should be updated and they should let people know before ordering. It caused a headache for me and them which was...
Read moreDealing with an estate sale and removal. I had a high need for a reliable junk removal company to assist in the removal of a large amount of items from the home. I normally deal with Just Junk (and have been pleased) but decided to give Capital Junk a try. I booked on their app which I found convenient and recieved a confirmation. Spent the entire morning preparing the household contents for them - bringing all of the items to ground floor for pickup. No one showed up. Called after no one showed - and they said they don't work Sundays. They said they are having problems with their booking app. A stressful experience. * follow up * Received a call the next morning from an employee who said that they were sorry about the app not working - and once again said we don't work Sundays. I think the point is lost - if we just focus in on what they want to have happen, as opposed to what happened. They offered me $25 off the next booking with Capital Junk. I'm simply not pleased as I don't feel that my lost day of moving loads of garbage to street level for them to pick up from an estate is a priority for them. I have had excellent service from Just Junk and will probably go back to using. I had just enjoyed the app and the ability to log a time online - but if I can't trust that they show up, I just can't afford that in my day. I'm not convinced that there was a wrong number left - as I spoke twice with your office (who called my cell) after you...
Read moreAfter calling five other junk removal companies—all of whom quoted me prices that made me consider just burying my old mattress in the woods out back—Junk Ninja swooped in like a pricing wizard in a truck. They not only offered same-day service (a concept so foreign I had to check my calendar), but the drivers called and actually asked if I wanted them to show up early, 3-hours early, in fact, which I’m pretty sure violates some universal law of customer service.
For a mere $210, they hauled away my queen mattress, box spring, and my Grandpa’s ancient stationary bike (which, let’s be honest, was just a very heavy memorial to the ‘90s). Meanwhile, other companies wanted $329+ just to think about driving to my house.
The two guys who showed up were so fast and professional, I half-suspected they’d vanish in a puff of smoke—but nope, they just left me with a clean garage and a renewed faith in humanity.
If you need junk gone, call Junk Ninja. If you don’t need junk gone, call them anyway and let their reasonable prices and efficiency inspire you to finally part with that “someday” pile in your basement. 12/10, would let them ninja my...
