The fried chicken sandwich was soooo good. The chicken was juicy and crispy. It was a hefty sandwich topped off by an incredible croissant bun. Friends really liked their fish cake benny and bacon benny. The Korean street egg sandwich was a bit lackluster as the egg omelette was a bit too thin for 2 slices of toast. The balance was a bit off. The mocha and cappuccino were good. Sevrer admitted it is his time making the espresso martini. For a first time? Pretty decent but it was a bit foamy. There is a parking lot in the back that fits about 15 cars and it was full when we got there at 11 am on a Saturday, so take that into consideration. There was street parking on the side streets. The restaurant itself was also a bit snug. There was about 6-7 tables, with the biggest seating 6-8 people.

First time at this newly opened bistro in Stittsville, and we'll definitely be back! We had fishcakes to share, they were super tasty with a delicious tangy/smokey remoulade and healthy portion of salad on the side (generous and could definitely be a full lighter meal). Then tried the shrimp po boy and jerk chicken po boy, salad as a side with one and butternut squash/curry soup with the other. Everything was terrific! I saw the mac & cheese being brought to someone else's table and I think my heart skipped a beat, so we'll be back very soon. Love having a local food place with a cool vibe in the heart of Stittsville that isn't the same old stuff you can get everywhere else. 👌🏼

Had experienced the owners previous restaurant in Carp, so I had to come visit. I was a long time customer of the previous shop that occupied this building and I am happy to see this place back in good hands with people that care. The food was excellent (honestly!) and the service was great and quick. The owner actually came by to chat and make sure all was good with the meal. We were not rushed to leave after finishing our food. The place has a family feel. I will be back for sure! Thanks for opening up shop :). Can't wait to see what you do with the place in the spring!

Super rude server at cash this time. Asked for a half decaf iced latte. Was told in a terse tone "I don't know what that is, we are not equator!"

Really? I was just here a week ago when a much friendlier server had no issues with the request!

Then I asked her politely if she could add sugar to the coffee (since the sugar would melt when it's added to heat) and she firmly directed me to the sugar container. Comical at best, and perhaps winning any customer service awards any time soon !

I had my daughter with me who was a bit fussy at the cash (tired and hadnt napped) and she says "oh you are going to need the coffee".

Nice attempt at being "funny" and rude at the same time I suppose.

It's unfortunate that one bad experience can leave an other wise decent establishment with a bad stain :)

Noticed that the server/owner left a reply below. Several factually incorrect comments made.

My daughter was pulling my arm and making a bit of a fuss however, she was absolutely not screaming!

You literally had maximum 5 to 6 people in the entire establishment when I came in. Why are you claiming you had a full place?

Something tells me that you just weren't too keen on serving us as we didnt quite fit in with the rest of your clientele but it is what it is.

A half decaf is basically 1 one shot of regular espresso and one shot of decaf espresso. I don't think I have ever been refused this at a place offering specialty coffee. Nonetheless your interactions left little to be desired!

Next time at least try and be honest!

Do better and best of luck with acquiring the demographic of clientele you wish to...

I visited this restaurant after seeing the positive reviews but unfortunately, my experience didn't match the hype. When we arrived, there was no one to greet us, so we seated ourselves. After some time, a waitress approached but seemed a bit rushed while taking our orders, even cutting my partner off before she had finished speaking.

My partner order a beer, which arrived overly foamy, not cold, and served in a dirty glass. When she asked if she could get a colder beer, the response was that all beers were kept in the same fridge and would be the same temp. The waitress quickly followed up by asking if we wanted anything else. Her tone felt dismissive, as if she just wanted us to hurry up and order.

Left with limited options, my partner opted for a 6 oz red wine. When the bill came, we were surprised to find we'd been charged for a 9 oz pour instead. This kind of careless overcharging is unacceptable and left a bad taste, regardless of whether it was intentional or not.

The food was decent, the fries and burger were tasty but the chicken was dry. The tables were sticky and had visible food particles on them. Every time I touched the table, my sweater would stick to the surface. It's a small detail, but it speaks volumes about the overall lack of care in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Overall, the service was inattentive, the cleanliness subpar, and the overall experience far from what the reviews had led me to expect. Our visit was genuinely...

Stopped in today with my partner for a bite. It was a lovely and cozy space.

We were intrigued by the eclectic menu options, and really enjoyed our order today. We had the fishcake appetizer to start, it had a nice crispy outer layer that held together the delicate fish inside, along with a dipping sauce and a nice side salad. My partner had the day's special which was a bacon cheese burger, with mac & cheese on the burger. It looked amazing and according to my partner, it tasted great! I had the Jerk Chicken Po'Boy, and even though it wasn't real "jerk", I still really enjoyed the sandwich! If anyone has any concerns about it being spicy....fear not.

I saw some of the food that was being served at some of the tables nearby, and everything looked really good. The menu options are great, the prices are very reasonable, and portions are generous.

It appears that they have some live music events held there. The server mentioned that they post them on their Facebook page.

This place has a warm/family family run business feel to it, and my partner and I are definitely going to go back again to try some of the other items...
