Honey Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Ottawa

Hi, Very courageous of you to open during the current struggles of most food service establishments. I do hope you are successful and make a go of it for the long run. I am one of the thousands of residents in the hundreds of homes in the neighbourhood directly behind your location. As a person who has to use Brae crescent to get on and off Stittsville Main street several times a day I have what I consider to be a pretty serious observation. You need to do something regarding your parking situation. For the couple of months of renos there was a dumpster and various service trucks and contractor vehicles parked right in front of you place, after you opened you were allowing patrons to park there, you have placed flags up. I get it, you needed to do those things to get where you are but going forward obstructing the view left (you know, the oncoming traffic lane) from Brae crescent down Stittsville Main can't continue. Your patrons are now parking up and down Brae crescent, where else are they supposed to park you may think, well when they are leisurely strolling across the street sipping their frappuccino they need to realize that people live behind there and it is actually them who is in the way, cross at the crosswalk at the corner. Brae crescent is not wide enough for the parking up and down one side of the street, the deliveries cannot be off loaded right at the corner, again people live behind you and it is dangerous on several levels. I would highly recommend Honey Coffee bar not only for your next cup of coffee but for all of the delicious deserts and other great menu items.

I am putting in this review today as a claim my FOURTH coffee card (buy 8 cups get one drink free) and this time I had Sofia and Francis surprise me. Not gonna lie I usually get a drip coffee and lemme tell ya I LOAD up on the sugar and milk but today Sofia suggested I try her recent master piece. A dairy free, sugar free oat milk hazelnut latte! I was hesitant at first as I have quite the sweet tooth but I was assured that I won’t have to add anything to it, by golly she was right!

Other than the great product they sell the atmosphere is calm and a great environment for a little laptop work! I really like the design inside as it is modern and the graphics on the wall are super awesome!

This venue is also great for events and or work gatherings even birthday parties!

Went in for the first time in a few years. The decor has improved significantly, I love the look of the patio. I got the Florence panini, it was decent, if overly sweet. My partner got a delicious vegan cookie and a pretty good oat milk dirty chai. Service was just okay, our barista was going through the motions. I don't generally want to hold that against anyone, if you serve 100 people in a day, not all of them can get a smile and engagement, it wears on you. But then I was served one of the worst coffees I have ever had. The milk for my cappuccino was steamed way too hot and with no regard for proper technique (i.e. microfoam). The espresso tasted awful. I don't know if they poured an old shot in my cup or what but it was stale and flavourless and bitter. I tried to drink it for the sake of the caffeine but got halfway through and poured out the other half. Will...
