Our overall experience was underwhelming. First the menu itself is confusing in the sense that they advertise their meal options but you cant get them for dine- in, if your going at dinner time (5-9:30/10:30). So why is it even on the menu. From pricing point of view, it is rather expensive. But given the Indian restraunt situation in Ottawa, i can see that its pricing is rather similar to them. When it comes to food portions, it was a mixed basket. I was really underwhelmed when they served me 5 moonshaped momos. Like if Im paying 14 dollars I atleast expected the quantity to be according to that. They were tiny. Their quantity for Currys seemed decent which was a positive and their naans were crispy and nice to eat. Out of everything the most dissapointing wss the GOAT BIRYANI or I should rather say bone biryani, because it did not have any meat but really big bones. The quantity was good but NO MEAT so it really sucked when you end up paying a lot of money for food that dissapoints you. The staff was nice. But seeing how busy they were the food arrived on time. The service was not fast or slow but just right. I believe they lacked a little manpower because they only had 2 people working front and when it started to get busy, I saw people had a wait to place their orders. We have been a customer of this restaurant ever since it opened, we always come here and always have appetizers first and request a change of plates and then have main course in fresh plates but today when we went to the restaurant, we were received such horrible service as we have never before. First of all, we ordered dahi papdi chat but we received dahi bhalla, when told server he was very confused, even the girl on cash confirmed him that it was papdi chat not bhalla, angrily he went back to the kitchen and came back to the dining area and said it was wrong we'll get you papdi chat, secondly, we asked the server that we are ready to place main course order, the server said that they're not gonna change plates, they normally do but today they're rally busy so they won't change it. Keep in mind, we had already stacked our plates on top of each other so after the server said it for 3 times that he won't change the plates, my husband clearly told him that there's no point in arguing, we are not gonna eat in those stacked plates, the server again angrily went to the back without saying anything. We were so disappointed but wanted to give another chance so we told the server that we want to talk to the manager and he said 1 minute and came back himself to talk to us.
