Worst place I've ever seen... pathetic management. We ordered 2 masala dosa and 1 mysore masala dosa. We received the first 2 and found the masala was already spoiled. Ofcourse I know you are sorry! The worst part is, I asked the restaurant people if they are going to cook new batch of masala for our 3rd dosa and it arrived. Surprisingly, we found the same spoiled masala was sauted and served... guess what we returned it as well and of course you guys are sorry again. Ever more surprisingly, they served the same spoiled masala to the child next table and with the spoiled masala rotten smell, i had to warn them to avoid eating the masala dosa... Never seen such a worse behavior and pathetic mindset. Mind that many does not know the taste of South indian cuisine and would be hard for them to tell if the food is spoiled or if that's the taste of it... you guys bringing disgrace to the whole cuisine. And of course I know you guys are sorry, but my advise to the restaurant, please eat outside food because your restaurant food is spoiled and no good to be consumed and inspite knowing about the spoiled food, you guys are ruthlessly serving it.... Note: we were not billed for the rotten food unsure about for other customers

We visited Dosa King yesterday and tried a few classics — the Butter Masala Dosa ($16), Gobhi Manchurian ($14), a lassi, and filter coffee. 🔸 Butter Masala Dosa – 4.5/5 Absolutely delicious! The dosa was perfectly crispy and generously buttered — exactly what you’d hope for in a comfort South Indian meal. The potato filling could’ve been a bit more flavorful or spiced, but the accompanying chutneys were outstanding — fresh, bold, and balanced. Overall, a great experience. I’d definitely go back just for this. 🔸 Gobhi Manchurian – 4/5 Good, but the sauce leaned too heavily into the tangy side. It lacked that ideal harmony between spicy, savory, and homestyle flavor that makes Indo-Chinese dishes shine. That said, the cauliflower was well-cooked and the portion was satisfying. 🔸 Lassi My husband ordered this — it was super thick, more like a dessert than a drink. While rich and creamy, it would have been better if slightly thinner for easier sipping. 🔸 Filter Coffee A solid end to the meal — aromatic and strong, just as a filter coffee should be. Overall, a good experience with a few minor tweaks that could elevate it to excellent. Would happily return for another dosa fix! ⭐ Final Verdict: 4.2/5

Hey folks! Today I stopped by to try some traditional Kerala food and had the classic Kerala Porotta — usually best paired with beef curry, but since they don’t serve beef here, I went with the mutton kurma instead. No regrets though — the kurma was rich, thick, and packed with flavour. I also tried the steamed rice cakes (Idli) with sambar and chutney. Honestly, the idli wasn’t my favourite — just didn’t click with my taste. To wash it all down, I had Naruneendi Sharbat — a traditional herbal lemonade from Kerala. That was refreshing and really brought back nostalgic vibes! That said, I did notice some downsides. The menu’s been changed, and it feels like some of the original, authentic Kerala flavours are missing now. Plus, the washrooms definitely need attention — they weren’t clean, the paper towels were scattered around, and there was a noticeable smell. It took away from the overall dining experience a bit. Great flavours in parts, but there’s room for improvement in both the food and cleanliness side of things

⛔️⛔️My family and I had a terrible experience. The owner, who also acts as the server and receptionist, is extremely arrogant. He showed no respect for families and lacked basic courtesy. His behavior was rude and absolutely unacceptable⛔️⛔️

DEFINITELY A BIG NO FOR THIS RESTAURANT ❌

Reply-

Here are some facts to counter your narrative in the replies:

We ordered food directly from the menu and politely inquired if it would be possible to warm up baby food, as our baby doesn’t eat anything from the menu. Instead of responding courteously, the server immediately said, “No, no, no, we don’t allow this. I can’t do anything. We don’t allow outside food into the kitchen,” and repeatedly interrupted us, not allowing us to speak. Even if you wish to decline, there’s a polite way to do so—something this server clearly lacks an understanding of.

We chose to overlook this and later asked if they could serve apple or orange juice for kids. The server slammed the menu on the table, pointing to it and saying, “This is all we have.” No server with decent customer service would behave in this manner.

Regarding name-dropping, we merely mentioned that another restaurant owner recommended this place to us, as it was our first visit. That’s far from inappropriate, and it doesn’t justify the poor treatment we received.

Most importantly, the server made a personal comment, saying, “You are drunk; I can smell it.” This is entirely unacceptable. We visited the restaurant with family to enjoy our time, and drinking responsibly is not a crime. There is no place for moral policing in such a setting, and the server had no right to make such a comment.

When confronted, the server escalated the situation by going around to other tables seeking validation from other customers. This behavior only highlights the unprofessionalism we encountered.

Lesson: If you’re noticing more negative feedback than anticipated, this is the power of word of mouth. Families and friends often rely on the experiences of others when forming...

Very bad and unprofessional service from Staff !! Disappointed

It’s commendable that you’ve chosen to respond to feedback. However, if you believe that addressing Balli Sodhi’s concerns will satisfy everyone, please note that others were also present and witnessed the situation. Although we weren’t with the family in question, we were seated nearby and could clearly hear the exchange.

The entire family interacted politely with the server, yet they were spoken to in an unreasonably rude tone on multiple occasions. Such behavior is unacceptable, as harassment should never be part of anyone’s dining experience. I personally witnessed this incident and intend to stay in touch with the family regarding the matter.

As parents, we’ve decided that this establishment is not a suitable environment for families with children. Harassment, regardless of one’s role, including that of an owner, is not justified.

This incident has not only disappointed customers but has also tarnished the reputation of the restaurant and its owners.

If you look under the “Lowest” category of reviews, it becomes evident that numerous reviews highlight the true behavior of your employees—something that seems to be concealed by fake, anonymously posted reviews likely outsourced to manipulate ratings.

As the owner, it’s disappointing to see you arguing with false claims rather than acknowledging your mistakes and using the feedback as an...

I recently ordered takeout from Dosa King, and I am compelled to share my extraordinary experience. Having spent months in Mysore, India, and developed a deep appreciation for dosas, I can confidently say that this place brought me right back to the streets of Mysore.

The dosas were nothing short of spectacular – perfectly crisp on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. The authenticity and attention to detail in the preparation were evident in every bite. It's a true testament to the culinary prowess of the chefs.

The service was impressively quick, and the staff was not only efficient but also incredibly friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, considering the exceptional quality of the food. The portions were just right, leaving me satisfied without overwhelming me. It's evident that this restaurant values its customers and strives to provide a delightful dining experience.

In light of recent negative reviews, I must express my disagreement with the unfair criticism. My experience was nothing short of exceptional, and I believe those negative reviews do not do justice to the true essence of this culinary gem.

I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and delightful South Indian dining experience. I'll definitely be returning, and I encourage others to give it a try. Kudos to the entire team for maintaining such high standards in both food...
