Frankie's Nashville Hot Chicken — Restaurant in Ottawa

I'm going to elaborate on the score because not all elements of the meal are equal. I got the chicken sandwich combo (w/hot AF sauce), with curly fries, and extra dill with it pickle slaw. Quick breakdown sandwich 4/5, curly fries 2/5, and pickle slaw 3/5.

Sandwich was a little sloppy I think that's cause it's three decent portioned breaded and fried chicken pieces. One or two pieces of equal size would probably help with keeping the sandwich together. Other then the structure of the sandwich the only thing that disappointed me was the sauce, I tried the hot AF sauce and it really didn't come through, I think the regular Nashville hot sauce would be the better choice if it's that traditional Nashville hot flavor. But otherwise the sandwich is good value for the cost. 4/5

Curly fries, honestly they are nothing special just your run of the mill curly fries, portion is acceptable, unfortunately the fries were cold when I ate them about 8 minutes after pick up, even though the sandwich was clearly hot and fresh. I didn't eat them all because they aren't that good cold. 2/5

Pickle slaw, and creamy cold slaw with pickles in it, I had high hopes for this because I love coleslaw and pickles and seems to serve a craving I never knew I had. It was okay, but that's more about the execution then the concept. The flavor was good, could be better if they tweak the ratios and thicken up the sauce, was watery like a traditional vinegar based coleslaw. 3/5

For the price to portion ratio is fair and the price isnt a large departure from other fast food hot chicken options that are being offered this summer, as for quality better than most but...

I have been giving these guys alot of chances, mostly because the food is delicious and I like to be fair with my reviews but the sad truth is the value is awful considering portion sizes. I've asked each time to fill the sauce cup appropriately and each time am disappointed with a sauce cup that may as well be empty. Good for about 1 tender lightly dipped. The consistency of quality is also concerning as I regularly found other food items in my order that can't be identified, like deep fryer junk just sitting at the bottom of your order. The tenders are tiny, sometimes fries are hard and chewy. The only moisture of the fries is the grease. To be fair the food is delicious when it's done right and I only hope they take these reviews seriously as I can see there are many who have this issue. I Ordered from UberEats buy 1 get 1 free "5 chicken strip combo" and 1 chicken sandwich.

Both combos had slightly burnt chicken strips and cold oily curly fries! The only thing good was the sauces considering it helped with the burnt taste.

The chicken sandwich was a complete joke! Three tendors on a burger bun with no lettuce, pickles, NOTHING! Hella dry and As I was eating the tendors kept falling out.

I DEFINITELY WON'T BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN! PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING SOME CHANGES IF YALL WANT CUSTOMERS...
