This place has an extensive menu (like most pubs, and most of it is probably frozen foods) - They do have a kids menu (had to ask for it though - and my kid is young) - service was nice, even when we went in the middle of the afternoon, when the only people there were a few of the construction workers and some regulars sitting at the bar -prices OK, but not great for the pub food (Chicken Caesar wrap was $20!) -breakfast menu looks good. - Strongbow Cider in cans - asked for a glass of ice with it, there was not a lot of ice in it when it was brought to me. - DID not have a “drinks” menu anywhere, or wasn’t offered one with the other menus. So I had to “guess” what I felt like having with my lunch. Not a great way to upsell past the coffee & NA drinks on the regular food menu. Not available on the website either - so I find that very odd. - Bathrooms feel dingy/small and probably need an upgrade. Seems like an odd mix of pub regulars, construction workers, and oldies. Not sure what their demographic is or who they are aiming to please here. Definitely a confusing spot - but food was OK. - Kid: Pogo & French Fries - Adult: Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap with poutine upgrade (says on menu it’s a flour tortilla, but it is a tomato or other flavoured wrap as a heads up, it was still good!) *PICKLE HATERS beware: the sandwiches all come with a huge pickle spear and they don’t shake it before hand, so my wrap and fries were soaked in pickle juice (pretty gross and a lot of my wrap was ruined by it!) Overall: probably would return for breakfast, a game with friends & beers, or maybe get some takeout wings. But, not really the place to take my kid or have a nice dinner/lunch with family.

Went for lunch on the weekend and didn't have a particularly enjoyable experience. I understand the appeal of a restaurant that offers something for everyone but if you're going to spend 20-25$ per plate you can get much higher quality food elsewhere. Our server Lori was the best part of the visit as she was attentive and kind. The food quality was poor especially when compared to the price. We shared their spinach dip which was piping hot and tastes good, it was exactly as expected. For mains I got their signature burger which was clearly just a frozen grocery store quality burger, it was supposed to come with buffalo chicken tenders, it came with 1 that didn't even cover 30% of the burger but I was told that was normally the way it's served. The burger also didn't come with sauce, we were charged for sauce after asking for it. This was pretty close to, if not the worst burger I've ever had My partner got the beef dip. It seemed like it was made with frozen flank steak. It was tough and dry despite being loaded with mayo. The au jus tasted good but the sandwich itself was not. The general atmosphere is loud but not awful. The food took quite a lot longer than expected especially based on how busy it was. But they had both the breakfast menu and lunch menu at the same time so it makes sense.

Service was pretty good, but the food across the board was just ok when you see the price tag. The wait was over an hour before we got our first plate of food. But that can kind of be forgiven because we had a large group and we all ordered nachos, they explained they only had one oven to bake them so the nachos would come out periodically. However the rest of the restaurant was semi empty, so is serving one group in an hour really justifiable, considering how the total occupancy was not even remotely close to its max. My biggest complaint is the mens washroom. The cleanliness is a major issue that needs to be addressed asap. There is a rancid odor that can be smelt before you even enter the washroom, and an abundance of fruit flies inhabiting the space. Maybe I would have had a better experience if I was completely intoxicated.

This restaurant (specifically the manager Nick) initially refused to offer an exchange for a $22 takeout order of Chicken nachos. Keep in mind we ordered these nachos as takeout, over the phone and paid full price during a time when the nachos were being offered for half price as an eat in special. This was not our first time ordering these nachos at the restaurant, but it was our first time placing a order over the phone with them. In the past we have eaten these chicken nachos at the restaurant in person when astute servers may have seen our brown skin/appearance and recognized we may not eat bacon and asked if we would like to have the bacon removed. Due to these reasons we always assumed the bacon was an extra addition. I recognize the nachos NOT being void of bacon is partially our fault. However, my issue with this incident has to do with the complete lack of empathy management showed us, their customers who have religious/dietary restrictions (a tone which seems to be echoed in their response to the complaint another family member posted earlier). When we got home and opened the nachos and saw bacon we felt so let down and called the restaurant to see why bacon was included in the order. But the manager essentially shrugging his shoulders and said "you should have learned/read our menu better", quite frankly Nick none of us have the time to read and learn the ingredients listed for nachos on the Jonny Canuck's menu verbatim. All you had to do was offer us a new order without bacon when you spoke to us and we would have been more than happy, I mean you were offering the meal for $11 at the time. Its true this restaurant has been in Orleans for the last 12 years, and so has our family. And our family has visited this establishment many times over those 12 years for hockey games, basketball, football games and for meet ups with friends. This experience has left us all really deflated and we will now be taking our business to alternative restaurants like the Clocktower pub and Waverly which are just up the road on Trim. Thanks but no Thanks Jonny Canuck's Orleans (for your chicken bacon nachos and lack of empathy) how very un-Canuck your service and treatment was to us in...

I went there for brunch with my family today around 10:30am (3 of us). I was seated at a table that fits 6 people....soon or later the small round table behind me was avaliable for more than 10 mins and i realized the host had no intension to seat anyone there, then i asked my waitress if it was ok i switched to that smaller table so my table for 6 can be avaliable for other big party. They seems to be confused ... i moved to the smaller one, the table was not even wiped yet. So we ordered our food, as soon as she left with our order, we wanted to change one of our dish from Egg benedict to Montreal smoke meat benedict (basically just added Smoke meat to it and we up sale the food), we waved at her to ask for change if it was not too late, but she said the order had been placed....sounds like she didn't want to do the extra work....but i told it just added on some smoke meat that's all.....she turned around and left ...didn't come back to notify us the change had been made or not.... Food came, Smoke meat was added to the order but she didn't say a word. All our home fries were cold, like sitting in the kitchen for awhile, toast were cold also. She kept coming to our table and asked for how was the food, were you done (we were still eating as she can see it!!)...she was kind of rushing us wanted to give her the table....but i didn't see her asking other tables.....I think she asked 4 times in total and lastly collected our dishes and asked if we wanted the bill..... i said ok, we paid. We were about to leave but i realized I wanted to finish my coffee first, so we sat down again, soon or later she came up to me and asked if i wanted to order something else, i told her i wanted to finish my coffee. I noticed people were waiting for tables, but no other tables were served like ours, kept bugging by the waitress and her attitude was so rude, no professional at all. We were so upset by her services and the food was that great neither. I would not recommend to anyone. Bad...

UPDATE: Even tried to contact the restaurant by email and no answer. I used to love this place. Ah well.

I'm so dissapointed :( I ordered take out today and the food tasted so bad I couldn't even finish 1/4 of it. And I paid 19$ for it too! That might not be a lot to some but to me it's quite a bit on my current budget.

When I called the person on the phone was great, when I went in to pick up the food the staff was also very nice, but again the food was horrible.

I ordered was a pasta dish, there was so little sauce that a huge clump pf pasta was dry and I mean was still beige colored dry. The only sauce I saw was a thin layer underneath the cheese. The pasta also seemed stale, it tasted like if I had made some at home and left it in a tupperware for a few days then heated it up for leftovers. I understand cooking pasta ahead of time to make the dinner rush faster but I really don't think it should have taste like it did. Also, some pieces of pasta were stuck together, if you've cooked pasta before you know what happens when you leave it in a tupperware/contained for a few days. Some of the spaghetti strands sticks together and make like a "pasta sausage", there was some of that in here too. Clumps of dry pasta which wouldn't have been there if it was well mixed/cooked/stored.

Another thing was I asked for extra cheese and they charged me for that but there definitely was not extra cheese! Maybe even less cheese that what I am used to on a normal baked spaghetti at other restaurants.

I was hoping the garlic bread would be Ok and redeem some of the meal but it was so greasy in a bad way that I could only take 2 bites.

The only good part of the meal was the ceasar salad that came with it which had a great sauce and fresh lettuce.

This dish was my go-to dish whenever I came to this location/restaurant but after this experience, and a similar experience last time with the food, I don't think I will be going back...
