Lebanese Village Bakery — Restaurant in Ottawa

The customer service was questionable, i had to request a receipt. And then noticed they shorted me in change deu, I instantly returned and asked him to verify the receipt and showed him the chang that he had Given me . Was only 1$ short but what bothered me is that he started he would have to check the camera footage... Honestly not worth the hassle but I waited about 5 minutes, I then explained to the young man that I didn't have the time to wait and to keep the change , the 2 employees look at me said nothing and continued to speak there language. I got their attention a second time. Still no reply.. I told him to keep it and left. The pies were not fresh overseasoned and had no lemon or olive oil...

I am not Lebanese but I went to this bakery when shopping at this plaza and asked for advice as to what to get for a snack. They suggested a flat bread topped with veggies and zatar ( a kind of a spice mix). It was great! I also bought some home made hummus. It was tasty but watery. So I wasn’t crazy about the texture but the flavour was great. The only thing I disliked was the small finger sized buns from their fridge ( I Bought a package of a dozen) filled with spinach and feta. Not worth it, made me sick in the morning after trying twice same day, the first pies we're okay not the best then second time same day was not good, overspiced not enough cheese and meat dosen't look right txture wise staff weird one let me pay after he's done with the pies the other guy pay first then get pies.
