I ordered takeout for my partner and I on Valentine’s Day. When I called I asked for vegetable samosas, paneer pakora, butter chicken and garlic naan.
When on the phone asking for vegetable samosas the person taking my order kept repeating another dish back to me that I had never heard of. I repeated multiple times that I wasn’t interested/ didn’t know what that was and I wanted vegetable samosas. It got to the point where I said “ok” because I really didn’t understand what the issue was and the rest of my order was repeated back to me correctly. I assumed that maybe they didn’t have vegetables samoas at the time and were offering me something similar but I would clear it up when I went in to pick up my order.
When I arrived I was given Pulao rice instead of vegetable samosas. I explained to the person ringing up my order that I didn’t ask for pulao rice and had asked for vegetable samosas multiple times. I tried to explain the situation and the waiter became extremely confrontational with me. He stated that this is what I asked for as he was the one who took my order and then said “ma’am you are a liar” to me in front of other customers when I tried to explain the back and forth that had gone on over the phone. When I tried to explain why I was confused he was very rude and kept cutting me off. It was really upsetting and embarrassing and I tried to approach the situation politely and remained polite the entire interaction.
I eventually left with my food and was extremely flustered and upset. After arriving home to eat the food it was probably the most bland food I have ever had. There was little to no flavour in any of the dishes which was extremely disappointing because we had been recommend this place by many people in our neighbourhood who...
Read more.A group of 12 had to skip dinner on Diwali night, because of the inefficiency and the worst customer service of this restaurant. We called the restaurant and ensured first whether they would be able to make our order, at that point in time they were much courteous and accepted that it would take an hour, but the food will get done. We placed the order thankfully through Uber, so we at least have our money back now. So after 2 hours, we make our call asking when the food will be ready and the person on the call says next 15 minutes. Later than 4 Uber drivers returned from this restaurant, and the 5th one had our food after a good long 3 hours when all our friends already left for their homes without having their dinner. The manager or the person communicating on calls said if you had so many people, you should have given your order a day ago. Really? Then why did you accept our call conversation being very overconfident about making it up and accept the uber order too? Never ordering from these people again, and we are sure they do not care about that either, but well 12 of us have at least 200 friends to know about this, and maybe then you would care! Good Luck ruining meals and...
Read moreI tried their weekend buffet ($27+tax) and had a surprisingly good time here. Started my meal with some mouth watering pani poori (the pani was 🤤), samosa and veg dumpling (tasty)
The main course had some veg curries such as veg korma, chana/chole, paneer masala, daal which were all okay
The non veg had butter chicken, tandoori chicken pieces, goat nihari
Served with basmati rice, veg pulao (was tasteless) and hot butter naan (really good)
The service was not the fastest but average. the naans became cold and tikka was not fresh. Butter chicken was good!
The chef came and asked us how the food was once and the server poured water in our glasses just once.
They have a no food wastage policy that charges you 50% extra per person or plate if you do fill up your plate more than you can eat, which is quite appreciable.
Overall a decent experience but I don’t think the price justifies the limited menu here. (Put some...
