Lucky King Take Out — Restaurant in Ottawa

I had to give at least 1 star in order to write a review...but if I had a choice I would give no stars. We placed an order at 6:35pm using the Just Eat app, as we have done almost every weekend for about the last 4 months. We waited 2hrs and recieved no delivery. So we decide to call Lucky King. We were told the driver takes a bunch of orders and goes out on a delivery. (So now we are starting to worry we will receive cold food) And assured us it was on its way. So we wait another hour and call back again. They told us now that they never got our order, the lady lied...but somehow they billed our VISA. So we get no where with Lucky King and call Bite This. Bite this confirmed that Lucky King did get our order and confirmed it almost right away. So Just Eat puts us on hold and calls Lucky King, then gets back on the phone with us to say that they actually didn't get our order till 8:30 but said it was being made and will be on its way shortly. I then asked them to Cancel the visa payment as we now fear they would spit into our food. Disgusting service and will never order from Lucky King or Through Just Eat again either. Now....off to McDonalds we go....tks a lot. Definately how I wanted to spend my Friday evening waiting around for nothing and going to...

How to spoil a great evening. Tonight we had guests for dinner and decided to order out. Called and placed my order and was told that it would be ready in 30 minutes. From past experiences, knowing that the lady taking the orders doesn't know how to predict time, I arrived 40 minutes later. I waited another 30 minutes (over an hour since I placed my order), the phone lady jokingly said that the wait was because of my large order. I wasn't laughing and mockingly said that next time I will place three small orders instead of one large order. I was witnessing her incompetence, answering the phone and saying to all orders that it would be ready in 30 minutes, even after she apologized many times to me that they were extremely busy. Furious I asked to talk to the owner and she responded that he wasn't there. I wrote my name and phone number and demanded that he should call me back. All of the sudden, she remembered that he was in the back. He came out and didn't care of my situation and tried blaming that my Crispy Spicy Beef takes a long time to cook. He probably thought that I was as stupid as the lady answering the calls and managing the front desk. It seems that stupidity runs from the owner down. You have been warned, DO NOT ORDER...

i ordered food on Thursday or Friday of last week in the evening.. 1st off the person who answered the phone seemed nice enough but could barely understand anything i said, i have to repeat my street name at least 4 times and then i had to spell it out twice, its a very short street name so obviously a language communication issue, ok so thats fine we got past that, on to the delivery of the food, he arrived and handed me the bags of food and took out the machine and started typing things in after he obtained my card and then said,, you give me tip right? thats when i asked for the machine and typed in a tip and finished the transaction, he left and got my food to the counter and opened the plastic bag up, the bag was filled with juice from my Cantonese chop suey and my egg rolls were completely soaked with the juice..when i opened up my Cantonese CS the overflow of liquids went all over my counter, the food was under cooked, the egg rolls would have been great if they weren't sopping wet, my conclusion was, 1st and last time ordering from this place.. not impressed..and of course the bill close to 40 bucks.. i should have called back to complain but i dont think i would have gotten far at all so didnt bother, decided on this...
