Maki Sushi + Poke — Restaurant in Ottawa

Super fresh!! So glad I found this place! If you are a huge Poké bowl fan like myself, I highly suggest dine-in -- the food came in a big bowl where you would have all the space to mix the food all together. Every bite was so enjoyable. Instead of eating the fish the veggie the rice all separately before having enough space to mix, this would give you the best results. You get to have all different kinds of flavor and texture combo with every bite. So kudos to the considerate store owner! The sauce is a little bit on the spicy side but works very well with the light flavor of the vegetables and salmon. I guess if you are not cool with spicy food, you can ask them to switch the spicy mayo to regular mayo. After all the staff is super friendly and nice. Also, this is the only Poké bowl place I have visited so far that provides you with A SPOON! For dine-in at least. Spoons are made for delicious food like this alright? Honestly I love this meal so much I left a second tip. And definitely there will be a second...

We had a fairly large family gathering (12 people) we ordered 3 party platters: 2 Grand Maki Platters and 1 Maki & Nigiri Platters, this amount fed us all to the point we couldn’t eat anymore and there was even leftovers!

Service was great and very friendly, the order was prepared quick and they gave us a call when it was ready for pickup, the chef sent us a couple freebies for the large order we placed which I think it was a very nice customer service touch.

Sushi was delicious, fresh and tasty as well as fairly priced for the great quality and the quantity you get.

Our favourite platter was the Maki & Nigiri because for a few bucks more you get more speciality rolls than the ones you get on the Grand Maki Platter but don’t get me wrong… they are both amazing !

Just had Maki sushi for the first time at lunch. Waited a few minites after ordering but it was well worth the wait. The sushi was super fresh and tasty. You could tell it was rolled fresh after ordering. I also got a stirfy rice bowl to try and it was the perfect mix of veggies, rice with a hint of spice. The staff were friendly and made suggestions of their most popular dishes. Menu had lots of different options including udon noodles and ramen bowls. Packaging was great for transportation home. Great additon to the Stittsville area & can't wait to try something else on...
