3 months and still no response or apology from the owner or management team. Just goes to prove my point about the poor customer service etiquette at this establishment.
What an awful restaurant with horrible staff members. Imagine waiting in line with your 1 year old daughter and hearing two female workers by the drive through window having a loud and heated conversation while casually throwing around the F word several times for your daughter to hear. Well I don't have to imagine it. It happened to me and my daughter.. To add to the situation their manager was in ear shot of them and was clearly okay with this. There have been a few other incidents here that have made me question this restaurant and the way its run..
I would also like to point out that I'm not the only one who has made similar claims. I recently read another review about this restaurant by 'Andy Malguzzi' who explains that after arguing with an employee over a soft drink she told him to F off.. he says that when he complained to the manager their only response was "Well, you were arguing too" --- Nothing more.. So.. The manager of this McDonalds was basically saying that the staff members have the right to use fowl language toward a customer if a customer is complaining or arguing about poor service. It's also apparently appropriate for workers to loudly use the F word around children.. cute...
All in all this McDonalds is horribly managed and clearly has some really poor customer service etiquette.. It is unacceptable.. You're in Barrhaven.. A community that is supposed to be setting a good example for the rest of city. The owner of this McDonalds needs to take charge of their employees and do something about this. If the owner or management team have anything to say for themselves I would love to hear...

Swung by McDonald’s the other day just looking to grab a quick drink — nothing fancy, just a large Coke Zero to power me through the afternoon. But let me tell you… I don’t know what magic was happening behind the fountain machine that day, but this Coke Zero was NEXT LEVEL.
It was ice-cold, perfectly carbonated, and had that ideal ratio of syrup to fizz that only happens once in a blue moon. The cup had just the right amount of crunch from the ice — you know the type — and the straw glided through that lid like it knew greatness was about to be sipped.
I’ve had hundreds of fountain sodas in my time, but this one? This was elite. Legendary. The kind of Coke Zero that makes you pull into a parking spot and just sit there appreciating it like it's a fine wine.
Didn’t even get food. Just the drink. And honestly, worth it.
Well done, McDonald's. On that day, you reminded me why we keep coming back.

Read moreWent here on a Saturday evening and it was busy, which is pretty standard for this location, but there was a lot of staff on hand. Ordered popular items (Big Mack, 1/4 pounder), which I would think would be "fast food". Turns out it took 21 minutes from the time we ordered until we received it. The best part of the entire experience was the employee that was working on her tan under the hot lamps where they place the orders that are ready. She spent a good 5 minutes taking a little nap in front of everybody while they waited for their order. This all occurring while the manager was right there and didn't seem to care or at least say perhaps to stand out of view of the customers. I'm not sure I've seen something so odd occur at a McDonald's. This coming from someone who use to frequent the Rideau...
