It’s unfortunate because we’ve had good food from this restaurant before but last night we ordered at 7:40 the food at 9:10 nearly 1/2 hour longer than promised when ordering. When I called the restaurant to let them know that not only was it very late but also cold and I had to put it on the stove in those flimsy aluminum containers that they deliver in to reheat it and the rice in the toaster oven the girl explained there was no way it could be cold because it’s made and delivered immediately. Given that we live about eight minutes from the restaurant location I assured her this was not the case and that we had to reheat the food and it had a very strange taste to it. She offered us compensation in the form of a $3.55 piece of Naan bread the next time that we (won't) order. To me this was not acceptable, but insulting and then she offered after speaking with the manager who reviewed how many times we have actually ordered food from the restaurant, which was quite a few to reimburse us half of the cost of the meal. She took our debit card number and expiration date told us it had been refunded but upon checking the account there has been no refund made. My impression of the food was that it was either frozen or reheated from another day, the portions were incredibly small the watery butter chicken probably the equivalent of a single chicken breast and the lamb curry had nine pieces of cubed meat. These two dishes plus plain rice and one piece of bread plus delivery/tip was $60. I do not even consider this close to good value for the cost and we are still waiting to get a reimbursement that was promised, however I remain highly doubtful. I suppose it is easier for them just to lose a customer who will let everybody know of their...

We were a party of 5 for our parents anniversary dinner, we picked this place based on all the great reviews that I read. It is a very nice little place, clean and comfortable, I was glad it wasn't as tight as some Indian places tend to be. We made a reservation so we had no problem getting a table plus we went earlier in the evening. The food was delicious , everything you buy is enough food for two people, everyone at the table loved their food. I had to give 3 starts because of the service and the wait time, it took a long time for us to get our food, almost an hour, the food could have been a little hotter but no big deal. The service wasn't the best, after the waitress took our order, we didn't see her at all until the food was delivered and then nothing, she never came back to ask if our meal was going ok, she never came back to refill out water glasses or ask anyone if they wanted a refill of their sodas and we had to flag her down to get the bill. I would have given more stars if the service was better, even although the food took forever to come out but unfortunately the service wasn't the best. Also a word of warning it gets reallly busy after 6pm on a Saturday for both dinning in and take out, so if you plan on going I would suggest making a...

Terrible customer service. They forgot my order, and then ultimately did nothing to address the complaint.

First, I ordered around 6:30 online (received a confirmation email) and waited over an hour for my food. I then decided to call and check in, since it was getting to be 15min past the time I was advised my food would arrive. Then, I was told the order was never placed. Annoyed, I placed my order again over the phone and was told I would get it asap in approx 30mins. I asked if I would be compensated for the lost order and delay, where I was informed she would talk to the manager.

When my food finally arrived after another HOUR (receiving my food at 8:44pm), the delivery person charged me full price as he was apparently unaware of the situation. He then said he would talk to the manager when he got back to the restaurant, but I have not been contacted about any sort of compensation.

I followed up by e-mailing the restaurant, which was never acknowledged.

Additionally, the quality of food was not nearly as good as I remembered it to be. Everything was extremely oily and rather flavorless. I will not be ordering...

The BEST Indian food I've ever had in the city! We had a veggie appetizer platter for two, madras (chicken) and dansak (beef) with rice and naan bread. I cannot describe how flavourful everything was. The beef was tender, both dishes were the level of spiciness requested and the veggie appetizers were perfectly fried without being greasy. We still can't get over how good the rice was. I will never be able to recreate this at home but theirs a very talented hard working chef who seasons everything to perfection. Lastly the service was great. Our server was attentive, helpful and very patient with us. We will definitely be going back! Lastly the price was fair and for the portion sized I have enough for a delicious lunch tomorrow. Worth every penny.

I had high hopes but it didn't impress. As several reviewers mentioned the service isn't great. The waitresses are polite but don't interact with the customers to provide recommendations, or to make sure everything is ok. Samosa -- ok (only veg available) Butter Chicken -- was too sweet Beef Bhona -- very good (my favourite dish) Naan -- very good (fresh) I only liked the beef bhona and the naan. The main dishes were reasonably priced but it became expensive because the Naan ($3.55) and rice ($3.95) have to be ordered separately. Based on tonight's experience I won't be able to recommend it, and it'll probably be a while before trying it again.

We expected there were some good deals for lunch menu because there is an advertisement outside: lunch menu 7.95. But it actually was vegetable wrap that’s 7.95. We were a little bit disappointed and felt like that was just a trick to attract people in. Overall the meals are not bad. But the service was terrible and we didn’t enjoy the meals. I do not recommend this restaurant and I’ll certainly not visit it again.
