Normally I LOVE milanos. Best crust in my opinion, and a great amount of cheese and toppings. Extremely dissatisfied with this location. Not milanos in general. Just this location, this experience and the quality of this pizza.
Tonight I ordered from the 1234 merival location using an uber coupon. I specified 'lightly cooked and extra sauce'. When my pizza arrived I noticed the crust was hard and lacking flavour. There was NO sauce. I mean like, 5 % of regular amount...and I asked for extra. So it wasn't lightly cooked and there wasn't extra sauce. Normally I don't care, pizza is my favourite. I dont even want this pizza. The taste and texture were terrible this time. I should have just ordered pizza pizza, sadly to say.
On top of my order being messed up and quality being sub par, the customer service was horrendous. I called to complain... and they guy said I can come in and replace it... I explained I'm a 1.5 hour bus ride away. He rudely said "you bought from uber, what do you want me to do ?".
I said there must be a way to put me in the system for next time I order in the area. He rudly explained to me there is nothing they can do. So I asked for a supervisor, which he ignored. I asked again and was told there was none available. He then proceeded to ask for my phone number and claimed I'm in the system now. How is it all of the sudden he CAN put me in the system? Idk.
Extremely dissatisfied, waste of money. I don't know how the milanos in Orleans can have the best quality and the milanos in merival...
Read moreI simply can’t come here anymore. I’ve been coming here for over 40 years. I remember walking up as a child and picking up a pizza from the old Kirkwood location and walking home with excitement. I don’t know when Abbas purchased this location however it’s been a long time. Anyways I grew up in the neighbourhood and raised a family in the same area. I’ve been ordering here for ever. Once they moved to Central Park everything changed. Online order was cleared and never made. Abbas fixed the problem then refunded me the next day. I was told to not use the app so I stopped. I started phoning in ever order. One order missing a pizza. Next order green peppers instead of olives. Next order missing donair. Next order ground beef instead of donair. A middle eastern person mixing up donair and ground beef is like an Italian mixing up ham and prosciutto. Always order 2 to 3 pizzas per order. One pizza well cooked one still white. Sometimes the dough is on the yellow side. One pizza is thick crusted and one is super thin. Anyhow, the guys working there now aren’t the same guys that were working there at the old location. If they’re still there I haven’t seen them. Maybe they’ve moved on and that’s fine. All I want are the toppings I asked for. That’s part of ordering pizza. I think I’ve given them enough chances. All the best to Abbas. You’re a very nice person and love talking to you but I also like my pizza the way I want it and I haven’t had it in...
Read moreIt was a frigid February evening at 1:30 am (Eastern Standard Time) when my buddies and I fancied a light midnight bite. We searched far and wide for a late-night place to get pizza, when miraculously, we stumbled upon the world-renowned Merivale Road Milano’s Pizzeria. Feeling ecstatic, we ordered a large Windsor Pizza to share among four people. Overwhelmed with excitement, we ripped down Baseline Road and pulled into the Milano’s Pizzeria parking lot like Jeff Gordon. The pizza was ready in a jiffy, and the cheerful employee working late nights handed us our piping hot box of deliciousness. Layers of cheese oozed off the top, and the crust was puffy and baked to perfection. Needless to say it was the best pizza of our lives. We relished the pizza back at home, and inhaled the entire thing within minutes. It was a life-changing experience. Just as we were finishing up our feast, the phone rang with the employee from Milano’s on the line. Buddy tells us he’s got an extra pizza in the kitchen, and offers to deliver it to us free of charge. What a lad! Moments later, a peculiar light appeared in the distance in the sky outside. We rushed to the window and watched as a helicopter descended from the heavens. Morgan Freeman emerged from the helicopter amid a cloud of C02, and announced “The Merivale Milano’s is the best pizzeria...
