Ottawa Delivery Sushi — Restaurant in Ottawa

I absolutely love their food. My niece Loves Sushi and now so do I. We've tried a couple of places in Ottawa so far for our weekly Saturday sushi niece and Auntie time.& this is our favorite place so far.My niece had the black Dragon Roll which tasted so delicious. I had the tempura combo and it was so fresh, crispy, flavorful & very delicious I highly recommend it. The place is very busy as I did order by calling and heard the man taking orders answering multiple phones but I can definitely see why this place is busy he was very swamped yet very polite and asked me to order online. I ordered online & it is easy and food came in good time.i also tried the mango ice cream which was so delicious made me feel like my father's Trinidadian homemade Caribbean mango ice cream I highly recommend. Not only is the food delicious the way they present it is so beautiful. The delivery man who came to the door was so friendly with a big smile I also appreciate that too. I ordered some take-out sushi from here yesterday and it was delicious! My boyfriend and I shared the sushi combo for 4 (24 piece maki and 24 piece nigiri) and it was great! Awesome selection of nigiri and the best shrimp nigiri, egg nigiri and octopus nigiri I have ever had! The rolls that came with the combo were simple (crab and cucumber and California) but delicious! Generous filling and not too much rice. Not only was everything super fresh and yummy but it was very reasonably priced! For all of our sushi, miso soups for each of us, seaweed salad for each of us, edamame and a huge side of pickled ginger AND a generous tip our total came to $95. We had plenty to eat for the two of us for dinner and two lunches of leftovers (the sushi was still delicious the next day). I will be for sure be getting sushi...

I can’t figure this place out - it’s so hit and miss. Maybe it’s just a matter of ordering the right stuff? I want to like it, but it’s way too inconsistent.

The spicy california crab roll was ok. Not great or terrible.

The salmon california roll was all over the place - some pieces were good, and in others the salmon was very tough and sinewy, and made me question whether the salmon was going to make me sick.

The spicy salmon tempura roll had about 5-6 birds eye chilies in each bite which is a ridiculous amount of heat. We had a little pile of chilies leftover from just 2 rolls.

Take out a mountain of chili peppers out and the tempura roll is awesome - like really good!

The rice, cucumber and avocado was good quality.
