Burrito gringo Bank @ Hunt Club — Restaurant in Ottawa

I hate giving reviews this bad, but this place needs some work.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the brown guacamole. I nearly walked out on that alone but I was hungry for a burrito so I pressed on.

Everything else looked edible enough, but the flavours really weren't there, it was pretty bland. When I think of burritos I think of bursts of flavour. Everything was just kind of lacking. The pulled pork was juicy which is nice, but there wasn't much to it.

Having a few more sauces to choose from aside from salsa, sour cream, and their burrito sauce would go a long way to adding that extra punch.

Food poisoning was a genuine concern while eating, but thankfully I was fine. Putting some effort into the presentation of the toppings as they sit there (brown guac is no good) does a lot to make a good first impression.

Overall I wasn't exactly happy with my experience. The food was edible, but not exactly tasty, and food quality was a concern. If things changed a bit I'd probably try it again because I see the potential for...

I just ordered something for the first time with Burrito Gringo on skipthedishes. In the description of the Grande Bowl it says that there should be two tortillas in the order. I did not receive the two tortillas. I called the Burrito Gingo regarding this matter at 18:30 and the employee on the phone was less than unpleasant. He repeatedly said that it was my fault that I did not specify the tortillas in my order. I did not think that something thats in the item description needed to be specified in the comments section? If I ordered a pepperoni pizza do I need to specify that I need pepperoni? Do I need to specify thatI need cheese and dough and tomato sauce? Same idea. This is false advertising if they say in the description one thing and deliver something completely different. The worst part of the experience is the employee "John" who repeatedly insulted me and claimed that it was my fault. I am thoroughly upset by this order and am horrified that this type of customer...

The past few times have been a disappointment with the food and I was willing to give it another shot tonight. I understand that it was 40mins to close, so it wasn't a big deal when they didn't have the sauteed vegetables left. Kinda lame they just did cold vegetables instead of taking a couple minutes to sautee a serving, but still no big deal, I just want to eat. They were also out of my choice of protein. Still no big deal, I'm hungry and just want to get a meal. But driving around the corner to my place that's just a block away and realizing the food is cold...that is where I say no excuses for that. The tortilla was slightly warmed from the toaster thing but all the fillings were cold. I picked out the onions and gave all the dog-safe parts of the burrito to my dog, and for myself I ordered from Hometown Sports...
