I’ve dined at this location several times in the past and had generally positive experiences with the food. However, my recent order via Uber Eats was nothing short of disappointing—and frankly, misleading.

I ordered two “large” burritos and received portions that could barely be described as small. Each burrito was roughly the size of the palm of my hand—significantly smaller than what I’ve received while dining in, and noticeably smaller than the standard small burritos at comparable establishments. For over $23, this felt like a deliberate misrepresentation of portion size.

When I called to express my concern, the manager was polite but dismissive, insisting that the size I received was their large, and that a true large would require ordering an XL—an option that was not available on Uber Eats. This kind of labeling is, at best, misleading. At worst, it leaves customers feeling deceived and exploited.

I didn’t request a refund. My intent wasn’t to recoup money, but to raise an honest concern about the discrepancy in size and pricing. Unfortunately, the response I received gave the impression that misleading advertising is considered acceptable policy.

The food is delicious! The fish burrito bowl with cilantro lime sauce was tasty and filling. My family all ordered different versions of the burrito bowl, and agreed their orders were flavourful.

However, the ordering process was broken. We spent way too much time entering our order (the bowls are highly customizable, which generally is terrific, unless their system is down, which you aren’t notified until the very end of the order when you try to submit it) online, then got an error message. Then we called the store, and they told us to use the app. We then downloaded the app, and again spent a lot of time customizing the order. WE AGAIN GOT AN ERROR MESSAGE, which prevented us from submitting the order.

Then, my daughters went to the store to order in person. We had a coupon for $10 off, but the staff at the store would not honour it because we were unable to place the order on the app. My daughters even showed the staff member the error message in the app. I really wish that after all of that wasted time and frustration, and then finally going to the store to order, then waiting 45 minutes for the order, that at the very least, the store staff would have honoured the $10 off coupon.
