My favorite treat is the Chai latté and Nanaimo square.
Friendly staff make nice drinks. The drinks are flavourful and well portioned. The prices are reasonable. They have comfortable chairs and tables for 2/4/6 people. There is also a high top near the front. In the summer, they have a little patio. They have a variety of milks like 2%, lactose free, almond, soy...
They are wheelchair accessible doors and has accessible parking. Accessible washrooms and tables. The hallways are wide and easy to move in. In winter, the carpet can sometimes be an issue for moving around if it's not flattened properly.
They have high chairs and kids size drinks. They will even make the hot chocolate cooler for kids.
The desserts are ok but I find them slightly stale ever so often. It's a bit of a hit and miss. I definitely recommend asking the baristas opinion. They are generally really good at letting you know what is the freshest option.
The area is clean and well maintained. There is lots of lighting and natural lighting too. There is free WiFi .

Read moreI was studying there on Sunday! The staff were very kind as well as the owner! But I especially want to mention the owner. He was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. It was clear how much care he puts into both the store and his customers. Unfortunately, I’ve seen him deal with some really unfair treatment from certain customers, including harassment and false allegations. From what I witnessed, those claims couldn’t be further from the truth, the owner is nothing but respectful and genuinely passionate about running this place.
If you’re looking for a great spot to grab a coffee, relax, or get some work done, I highly recommend supporting this Second Cup. Not only is it a fantastic café, but it’s also run by someone who truly deserves our community’s support.
Ali Saad, you have an amazing store and you’re doing an...
Read moreThis Second Cup is usually understaffed, so I don't expect my drinks to be made quickly when I go here, but this morning, I put a mobile order in on my phone, and 15 minutes after the time the app told me the drinks would be ready, the drinks were still not made. When a barista saw that I was waiting near the mobile order area, she asked, "What's up?", and I told her I hadn't gotten my drinks yet; she was defensive immediately and explained that the order was not ready because I had not announced that I was there to pick up an order (something that I found unprofessional). They did not start making the order until I announced I was there to pick it up - which goes against the principle of mobile ordering since it tells you when you place the order when it will...
