I have put 2/5 because of the items below. Personality of staff. You don't really feel welcomed in this restaurant, owner seems like he's in a bad mood every visit, I even made some small remarks to this aspect on my last visit. Expensive Most expensive shawarma establishment I've ever been to. Trust me it's not worth it for the price unless your like me in a big rush but I've decided that I will no longer pay 💰 Extra charges Unlike other shawarma places that just pamper your plate with whatever you want. This guy tries to charge for an extra garlic, I've never seen this in my life. He's so cheap. Meat Very dry Tabouli and hummus Tabouli is almost as dry as bread, terrible!! Hummus is of a weird colour and texture and the taste isn't the best. Other They do microwave a lot and I've never seen this before, might as well eat left overs at home in that case.

I don't know how anyone can find this place worth a stop, maybe like me it's just in a good location so you keep going back and hoping it will improve but it doesn't. His son use to work at this location and for some reason after he left I never enjoyed myself eating it. I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience at The King Shawarma, I had to say something. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, fast, and genuinely welcoming - like they were actually happy to see me (a rare thing these days).

Now let’s talk food. The shawarma? Unreal. Perfectly spiced, juicy, and wrapped in fresh bread that didn’t fall apart halfway through. Every bite felt like it was made for your taste buds.

But the real surprise, and my go to dish, was the fattoush salad. I’ve had a lot of fattoush, but theirs is on a different level. Crisp veggies, the perfect hit of tang, and those crunchy pita chips all come together beautifully. I could eat it every day and never get tired of it.

For the past 5 years King Shawarma has been our go-to for Lebanese Food. My husband enjoys the chicken sandwich. He says it's really tasty and jam-packed with chicken!

My favourite is the Chicken Salad. It’s not only delicious, it has heaps of sliced chicken. The overall serving is huge! What’s more, they offer to top it up with tomatoes, turnips, hot peppers, pickles, etc., etc. To which, I usually answer, yes! I do ask for extra garlic sauce for both the sandwich and the salad. I'm never been charged for it or the added ingredients.

The owner, his sons and staff are really quite pleasant. And, should Adam be available, I'll ask him to make my salad. And, he does!
