I went to this restaurant for 20 years every month and it was my favorite shawarma restaurant in Ottawa by far, maybe my favorite restaurant in Ottawa. I loved so much their perfectly grilled and crispy skin chicken that I always took the platter to have more meat than in the sandwich. I noticed since a few months the quality and service level decreasing quickly. The waiters were constantly fighting and cursing at the clients more and more often. Last Wednesday, I took my usual chicken shawarma platter to go. At home, I noticed immediately there was more dark meat chicken than white meat (it is usually the inverse, very little dark meat and skin), big chunks of chicken fat and skin barely cooked. The salad had no dressing and was full of water. The rice was dry and the potatoes very greasy. It was so disgusting that after a first bite, I put the sandwich and the platter right to the carbage can, it was not eatable and maybe even dangerous to eat because some of the chicken parts and fat were barely cooked. Best place since I discovered Shawarma 20+ years ago. Nice tender beef and always great chicken. The quality is always top notch. These guys have a great smoothey. They even catored my wedding about 3 years ago my late wife and her late husband's wedding before hand. I only have high regards and great experience.

I must however say, I think it's time you guys clean the Mango's signs both in the front and on the side near Scotia Bank.

The glass protection is great during this Covid Pandemic and arrows for pickup make us feal quite safe. I look forward to beeing able to dine again in the modified lounge/restaurant area again with my from my 10 peeps selected "entourage", and Love the fact that a rag with Sanitizer is left behind if customers want to wipe down their area. (This was prior to the recent lock down of limited in-dinning)

Finally, I hope the moth I noticed about a months ago has been solved. I've had moths before and Home Depot sells a bait and trap for that. I think the ultraviolet light they use was working the last time I went there. And my best budy and I got lucky with the weather to eat outside..
