Shawarma Prince — Restaurant in Ottawa

I went to Shawaram Prince which is on 1667 Merivale Rd, Nepean. There is a big sign board on the Merivale Road saying that $29 for family pack. So I just went inside to order that deal. It was quite a surprise to me that the store guy(maybe owner) said that, that price is gone long time ago and the new price is including tax $37. I told him that I saw the ad in front of your store for maybe the past 6 month, which attracts customers and then when for my case,came inside and I was told a new price. It really shocked me at how these people were cheating the public.

Please don't go to this dishonest store. I have not tasted their food, but not interested to since I don't want to give business to any dishonest folks.

For myself paying more is not an issue, but this store is cheating the public is the biggest shock for me. Still this sign board is up in front of the store, I took pic of it. The other interesting thing is that, at the back of that same ad sign board which faces the store, they put their new price, so when I told him the price is $29, he points to the back of that ad and says, no it's now $39. So the ad facing the public has a good price at attract customer I assume and on the back he wrote the real higher price. I told him the price that is shown to the public is not true, and anyway, I just left the store. Can't believe such store are surviving in Ottawa. Anyway, just warning people to not go to this store.

There are many great Shawarma places that I went to which are great, they are friendly and are honest, please go to those stores in Ottawa. Only this store I had this...

I visited shawarma prince today for the very first time for a quick lunch meeting with my mom. The restaurant was very clean, the tables were clean, everything was well displayed. When I approached the counter to place my order the gentleman suggested a better deal for me which I really appreciate it because he save me some money. The preparation area was extremely clean which I really liked, the toppings were freshly sliced and the display was quite nice, please see picture. There's a gentleman who took payment, the prices are well displayed therefore you will not have any issues figuring out how much you'll have to pay.

They have a dispenser for their soft drink and my Coca-Cola tastes fresh and fizzy, the way it should always taste.

The shawarma was fresh and delicious, they are very generous with the chicken. The salad and side of potatoes, fresh and scrumptious. The garlic sauce is perfect, I’d like to say it’s the best in Ottawa, can’t wait to come back!

I visited the washroom, there's an employee washroom and a washroom for customers. Overall it was clean but the toilet seat was Peed on by the previous customer, it is not the restaurant's fault as you can clearly see by the way the rest of the washroom is that they try their very best to keep it clean.

I'm very happy with my visit today, again it was my very first time visiting this restaurant and I really enjoyed myself. The Shawarma tasted amazing and I feel that I will be back again for some tasty Shawarma. You guys...
