Canadian version of an "affordable" sandwich.. $7.99.. served on egg bread slices. I ordered a BBQ Chicken Bacon Avocado Sandwich, the lady who took my order didn't even wait to ask what bread I wanted or dressing.. just asked me which sandwich, turned her back on me and proceeded with making it. I'd have preferred it cut but with the lack of communication, that was lost to my thoughts. Would I go again? Possibly as this is the cheapest you could eat out, be filling and remotely healthy. It's located in a Supermarket so you can guess the ambience from just that. So, no sitting down to eat, you line up, order, pick up the sandwiches, head to the counter to pay and then walk out the door. That's it! Don't expect anything great. They do have a range of desserts to choose from but that is to review on another visit.

Read moreWe live in the neighborhood and we joke that we moved here to be closer to the famous Sherwood Sandwich (if you know you know.) Little did we know from day 1 its the people that you really favour the most. These folks have really made the last year + so wonderful for us. They have been working so hard to be open, carry the groceries we need, while keeping everything so clean and organized and safe for everyone. This is superior dedication and genuine care for customers. They also have an amazing taste in music, you will hear a mix and sometimes if you're lucky really amazing jazz during your stop. I thank each and every one of the staff for everything they have done for us just by running such a stellar business and being here in our neighborhood. We all love...
Read moreI get my groceries here. The reason because: it is close by to where I live, the downside is that the prices are marked up a bit compared to other grocery stores. The selection is good enough that this is the only grocery store I need to go to — take it with a grain of salt though because I’m a university student at Carleton and my diet basically consists of only hotdogs and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches; obviously not as much as your supermarkets. It also offers take-out sandwiches, an ATM, a newspaper stand and a coffee station which is nice. One thing I should mention is that this store is open til 10 P.M. except on Sundays, I say this because I only get groceries around 6PM to 10PM (late in the day) when there are less people around which is to my...
