Very few places you’ll ever eat in your life where the first bites take you back to your childhood in the Middle East.

In Lebanon/Middle East there are many sandwich places that have their own style and types of sandwiches/subs that are similar to western ones but yet completely different. This place has some how replicated the feeling and taste of those sandwiches and they’re the only place in Canada I’ve ever been to that has ever done it.

These are some of the best subs I’ve ever had in my entire life, I was shocked, and even more shocked when my group of friends preferred these sandwiches over their western counterparts too, the food was insanely good, fresh and made to order, the meat is never frozen, everything is insanely clean, Moe was very kind to us through and through and believe it or not, the meat is real steak, you’re paying for quality food and ingredients, the poutine is insanely huge and insanely good too, I highly recommend this place, I could spend the day talking about my experience here if I had the time.

TLDR; Good food, accurate to Middle East style subs/sandwiches, 100% legit quality and taste, great price, give this man...

RUN to this restaurant if you enjoy good food and superior service and beautiful atmosphere.

Walked in on a Friday evening at dinner time to a sparkling clean restaurant. The warm and friendly greeting made us instantly at ease. We were directed to the printed menus as they contain the charcoal offerings.

I ordered the half chicken. I was informed that theres a current special and for 10$ more i could upgrade to a whole chicken ( 35$) and they'd box up that half for us.( this included another whole set of side!)

We were asked to have a seat in the dining room and they'd serve it to us when ready.

In little time we were served the best meal I've had this year!

Hot,fresh, homemade taste in every bite! Charcoal chicken was juicy and tender, perfectly cooked. Rice was fresh and so flavourful, as was the garlic sauces ( one regular toum and one spicy) loads of fresh pitas, tasty hummus and a bowl of mixed pickled veggies. Side of fries were piping hot ,which my partner enjoyed with his Philadelphia sub which my partner claimed to be top tier!

We highly recommend anyone visit this gem of a restaurant...

The review is from today’s order for May 25 birthday!

We had Subtown cater my son's birthday party, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience! The sandwiches were absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and a hit with both the kids and adults. The variety offered was impressive, and every single one was made with great care and attention to detail. All I did was call and asked them to make it look nice and just like that it was all taken care of with no headache and only needed a few days heads up. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. From the moment we contacted them, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met. Their professionalism and friendliness made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

We are so grateful for the wonderful service and the delicious food that helped make my son's birthday celebration a memorable one. We highly recommend Subtown for any catering needs and look forward to visiting again soon!

Thank you...

This wasn’t our first choice to come have an early breakfast but I’m glad we ended up here, firstly from the outside it says sub town, however right next to it it does mention foul and hummus. We were there for their Lebanese cuisine. Inside, there is a fairly decent seating area with booths and tables. We placed our order at the front but I also did see them coming to take orders directly at the table. The menus is extensive, you have a variety of subs to choose from and plenty of Lebanese dishes as well like hummus, foul, fatteh, shakshuka etc. We tried a variety of dishes, the portions were appropriate and the flavours were packing! Hummus with meat was my favourite, even the sojourn eggs was flavourful. The meat maqla though wasn’t gamey and seasoned well, it was my least favourite of the bunch. All meals are served with pita bread. Service was great, he helped us choose items off the menus, the food arrived fresh in a timely manner. Will definitely be back for the breakfast!

This traditional Lebanese sandwich had a very unique flavor with simple and limited toppings, which really put the focus on the wonderful black seed flavor of the chicken! Lots of meat on a nice crisp bun which was extremely filling! I have really never had anything that tasted similar and I would strongly recommend it if you're up for something new. I had the Francisco sub with no corn (4.8/5). The owner was so incredibly nice and too generous!🙏We had a nice long talk about everything from food to travel and all the different places he had lived, it was so nice talking to you! I will be back next time I'm in the area.

Truly one of a kind restaurant as it is near impossible to find a halal sub joint. The signature subs are all packed with great flavors and are simply delicious. The guys know exactly how much to toast the bread which ensures that the sauces and juices are well contained within the sub and makes for a much less messy eating experience. Their house special avocado sauce is amazing and this is coming from someone who's not a fan of avocados. They even carry some baklava and other baked in-store cookies for folks looking to enjoy some light dessert with their subs. Highly recommended.
