Subway — Restaurant in Ottawa

Sadly, the service was “sub“ par. I went in for a veggie rice bowl and was told I would have to pay extra for the rice. Apparently, it’s because they don’t have the veggie rice bowl on the menu anymore. As I was trying to process what he was telling me the guy said “OK look I will ring it through as a teriyaki chicken but I won’t give you the chicken”. That sounded OK until I asked about the avocado and he said he would have to charge extra. I replied “but I’m not taking the chicken”. I quickly realized that our arrangement was not going to work out. I just said look I need to leave now and I went over to Mad Radish and had an amazing veggie rice bowl! I get the feeling this is a franchise policy and the employee is not allowed to colour outside the lines. Really disappointed but MaD RaDiSH!… People gotta try that place out,...

The newly renovated space makes it very inviting to sit and enjoy your food.

The selection on a Sunday night was fresh and crispy. The staff were quickly available. The sandwiches tasted good, the fountain drinks were well balanced and chips crunchy. The raspberry lemon cookies are a little too sweet but still tasty.

The store has a wide variety of seat selection, charging USB plugs and electrical plugs. The store is flat and easy to enter but the door is not automated. The washrooms are large and have a baby change table. They also have highchairs and boaster seats. They have kids meal options with apple sauce.

Free wifi is available. Service animals are welcomed.

Went there yesterday ordered 2 subs and 2 drinks total came upto $30 when i was paying i tapped it once the girl with the blonde hair who claims to be the “owner” told me it didnt go through then i did it again but when i checked my bank account it said i had been charged twice, so i came back kindly asked for a refund, showed them my banking transactions as ive been charged twice, they refused to give me a refund they caused a big scene.
