There were three employees in this restaurant. Have you ever heard a “how many people joke”? Well let me tell you the answer to this riddle of how many subway employees it takes to make a sub. All 3! One to actually take the order, then toast the bread then cook the meat then dress the sub… list goes on. The other two employees task for the day was to stare at the tomato picture on the wall like it’s a magic eye wall art and trying to make the boat become real. That’s right. Two of the employees just stood there looking into the great abyss pondering life and the choices they have made by working at this subway. My best guess? They are majoring in astrology due to the fact that they just stare into space this hard. The one working employee is even cleaning the counter while the other two, fraught with excitement, are trying not to drool as they are into complete deep thought. If you ever wanted a job where you can work on your standing posture and not actually have to do ANYTHING aside from putting on plastic gloves, presumably to keep you safe from working, than this store is your calling! I’ve seen road kill more productive than the other...
Read moreI've been a customer for over ten years. My last experience was definitely my worse although not an isolated incident there. After I prepared two sandwiches I tried to pay with a $100 dollar bill. The girl serving me had no idea and had to ask her "manager" if they accepted that. The manager was pretty direct with me to say the least, that they did not accept large bills. When I asked where their sign stating that was, I got nothing but a blank stare from both employees until the "manager" just walked away. Then more silence and blank stares when I asked the question a second time. I wouldve even went out to change the bill if maybe Id gotten more than a "sorry" or atleast a "we apologize, I can wait till you get change". Even an answer to my actual question would've done. But I guess the 3 star rating...
Read moreI would give them a zero if that was possible. I feel like the owners make the sandwiches and they dress the sandwiches with just tiny droplets of sauces. Sometimes, I have to look for cheese in my sandwiches and often times, I just find a slice or two in a footlong. They have paper bags but they never give them out for takeouts. I usually get two foot longs and I have to carry them in my hands without any bags. Whenever I ask for bags, the owner says that she’ll have to charge me for it. This is the worst subway I’ve ever been too. My review is not based on a single experience, all of the things that I mentioned are constant every time I visit. If anyone wants to get a subway sandwich within this area then I’d suggest 1523 Merivale road which is a few hundred metres away and far better...
