The PH Kitchen — Restaurant in Ottawa

I recently bought chicken BBQ from PH Kitchen yesterday (August 2, 2025), and I was very disappointed. The chicken seemed uncooked, with fresh blood and raw meat inside. I also bought pork BBQ, but the meat was so tough it was like chewing on stone.

Previously, I let my complaints slide, like the time I ordered ampalaya with egg—some of the ampalaya slices were still raw and hard, mixed in with the cooked pieces, and it just wasn’t delicious.

PH Kitchen used to have better food quality, but it has really gone downhill. I hope management takes this seriously because serving raw chicken is unsafe.

On top of that, the girl at the counter with red lipstick was unfriendly...

I recently tried this place for the first time, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — very, very good. Every bite was full of flavor, and I could tell everything was made with care. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It’s such a cute, tiny spot, but it has such a big heart. I’ll definitely be coming back. Beautiful little gem with amazing people. Highly recommend it! We had Ph Kitchen to cater for our Wedding. We did not expect that it would be so delicious. It was like eating the food of the gods. The guests had beautiful response to the food. It was so delicious. We would like to recommend PH Kitchen to cater for all occassions especially wedding. You would not regret eating their food. Chef D is a very good chef.
