I bought two whole chickens and was excited to have a good meal. Unfortunately after I got home I realized the chicken was old and rotten and smelled absolutely horrifying. I went all the way back to the store and exchanged the bad rotten chicken for some fresh ones. I get back home and I cook them and the smell was disgusting!!! To my surprise the CHICKEN IS ROTTEN AGAIN. Just like a couple hours earlier I went back to the store and showed them the rotten chicken, the the Libyan man working there started yelling at the top of his lungs saying it wasn’t his fault and blamed the Afghani guys working there. He was extremely rude and has ZERO customer service, decency or conflict resolution skills. They have wasted my time, money and ruined my day. It was awful. I had to rush and go to Damas.

I do not recommend Ottawa Halal Market to anyone not even my enemies. 10/10 do not recommend!!! Save your money and go somewhere else...

I recently ordered takeout from Ottawa Halal, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience because there were a very nice and welcomed new owner ! The juicy shawarma that was served was absolutely delicious—each bite was packed with flavor and perfectly tender. It’s definitely one of the best shawarmas I've had!❤️❤️ The restaurant itself is impressively clean and well-organized, which made placing my order a breeze. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring that my order was prepared quickly and accurately. Their positive attitude really made the experience enjoyable. Also prices were very well made, and I could say it is worth it. Overall, Ottawa Halal is a fantastic choice for takeout or dining in , offering mouthwatering food and excellent service. I can't wait to order from them...

CAUTION TO ANYONE WHO SHOPS HERE. Visited this location to rent a uhal truck a couple months ago. Service to do so was extremely slow. My biggest issue is that now two months later, the store made FIVE FRAUDULENT CHARGES to the credit card I used to pay for the uhal. Their reply to this review is pathetic seeing as they are the ones who took my credit card number two months ago for uhal payment and I have not returned to the store nor has anyone used my card at their store since. Therefore it could only be an employee at this store who used my credit card number to make fraudulent charges. Seeing as their reply is defensive also raises suspicion. I will not ever go back and I caution anyone going there to not use any credit/debit card as they clearly have no respect for...
