If you're looking for an outstanding restaurant experience, ViaMarzo on March Rd in Kanata is a must-visit spot. I recently had the pleasure of dining there with my wife and great friends. We was blown away by the amazing food and customer service.

I ordered the Mixed Grill which came with lamb, chicken, and steak. The meat was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, and full of flavour. I also appreciated that they were accommodating when I asked to substitute my vegetable for some delicious pasta. The portion size was very generous and I left feeling completely satisfied.

The appetizers were also a hit with our group of four. We ordered two sharable dishes and everyone cleaned their plates. The customer service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable.

One thing that stood out for me was the bread. It was great size and soft, and tasted freshly baked. I couldn't resist asking for more!

Overall, I highly recommend ViaMarzo for anyone looking for a great meal with exceptional service. Their mixed grill and appetizers are definitely worth trying, and I can't wait to go back for another...

Amazing, you can't go wrong with the food, cozy atmosphere and fantastic service! Went there with a group of friends for a celebration. Food was delicious, hot and prompt - perfectly cooked calamari, zucchini sticks, warm olives, and the freshly baked buns were warm, soft and so lovely to eat; perfect  blackened salmon special with lots of fresh vegetables, pappardelle with a lamb ragu (generous and rich sauce with lots of lamb pieces and perfectly cooked homemade pasta), fresh linguine Alfredo with chicken and vegetables, chicken marsala with potatoes and vegetables. We were too late for the cannoli, but we ordered the chocolate torte (perfectly chocolatey and light at the same time), lemon cake, and blueberry cheesecake. A wonderful gem located in RioCentre Kanata. My thanks to everyone at ViaMarzo for making it a wonderful evening for our group. The service was attentive and highly knowledgeable about their menu and bar. Will...

Via Marzo has been our go to date night spot for the past couple of years, and we honestly cannot stay away. Every time we talk about trying somewhere new, we somehow always find ourselves back here. We even brought our toddlers once, and they made us feel just as welcome as always.

The food and service are truly outstanding. Just last week, they went out of their way to make my wife her favorite dish for her birthday, a delicious saffron seafood chowder. It was absolutely perfect and just one example of how much care they put into everything they do.

I have to mention the fresh baked bread with black seed too. It is worth the trip all on its own. Every meal starts with it and it sets the tone for something special.

We cannot say enough good things about Via Marzo. I am sorry it took us this long to finally write about what every visit has been like. Thank you for making each night out feel...

We went to this spot because I heard the meat was halal and I really wanted to try it out, and it was beyond disappointing.... The waitress was really nice, and really detailed on what menu dishes were halal and what weren't (it changes on a daily basis) and so I went with the suggestive veal dish (see picture below) and my husband took the Lasanga (not halal). We also ordered a soup and a potato as appetizers. .... Nothing was good. The potatoes came burnt, the soup tasted weird, the veal reallly tasted weird, and the Lasanga smelt really bad and tasted super weird. Honest recommendation would be to skip it. It really was that off putting... For a fancy spot, we were beyond disappointed with every single thing (except the service). So yeah, I would pass and go to Cabottos or another Italian spot instead.

This was our first time here. We had no reservations but we did manage to get a table. So next time we shall make a reservation. We started with the calamari, perfection, lightly coated could not call it a batter it was so thin, tender warm yummies. Have not had calamari’s in a while that I enjoyed so very much. Sorry no photo as I was too busy enjoying them had a hard time sharing. My love had the lasagna and added the bolognese over it, he loved it. The rolls appeared to be made in-house went perfectly with the lasagna. I had the 3 cheese pizza with pesto and pine nuts, and in-house crust. Very tasty the right amount of cheese blend with the p&p made for a wonderful meal. I had a The Punch cocktail will be trying to replicate this at home. Will definitely go back again maybe for the lunch menu.

An amazing little Italian eatery in a non descript strip mall in North Kanata. Friendly service. I'm a bread person and their fresh rolls were soft and very tasty. Homemade pasta dishes were absolutely perfect. Steak Frites with lobster tail was the special. Lobster tail was on the small side but the rib steak was cooked perfectly. Dessert was a bit of a let down. $9 for one small cannoli is a little steep. Creme brule was perfection and a generous size. ViaMarzo is a little pricey but I will be going back.
