Montana’s BBQ & Bar — Restaurant in Owen Sound

Service was terrible once we first arrived, we waited 8 min before we were seated, our new server after we were seated was kind and proceeded to take our orders, we received our drinks after 20 min of being in the restaurant, received our food after we were there 50min, we watched servers walk by 15 times over a napkin that had been on the floor and no one picked it up until my my mentioned it to a server after a young girl almost slipped on it, the steak came out cold, the potato was warm and basically cold barelyany cheese or bacon on it, the garden salad was terrible and not fresh at all ,deep fried pickles were soggy,the onion rings were not fully cooked all the way through and was doughy once bitten into, the fries were good burger was good, but the onion rings on the burger again were not fully cooked , the bacon was no fully cooked and much like rubber, it was not totally budy for the 8 servers that were on the floor , london is much busier and has better quicker service, we notified the server we were not pleased with how our food came out, she offered to get the chef to re cook our meals we delined at this point we have now been here for 1 hour, the manager came to our table and offered to take our appetizers off of the bill, it did not really make a difference at the end of bill total, we will not be coming back to Montanas at this location , we simply came here because montanas is usually consistent and the food is cooked well , not true at this location to top it all o ff it was my wife and I anniversary dinner, and it was terrible..... we were also offered 10 dollars off our next visit at this location we...

Walked in at 6:16pm and were told we would get a text in 10-15 minutes when a table became available. We were told we could sit at the bar, so we did. We ordered a drink at the bar while we waited. Approx 30 minutes pass and we receive no text. We turn around from the bar to the dining area to see approx 8 tables are empty so we go to the Hostess to inquire. They some how forgot about us. A few minutes later the hostess comes to the bar, "have you ordered?" Ordered?? We were told to sit here to wait for a table how would we order?? We then get seated at a table, place our orders and wait. Time is now approx 7:00 pm. While we wait for our food a couple is seated 2 tables from us, they have the same server as us. We hear our server tell the couple if the make a review they can get a free appetizer. We were never told that. When this couple received their bill we then hear our server tell them that the cost of the appetizer was in fact removed from their bill. Must be nice! Our server forgot 1 of our waters. Ordered 5 sides when 4 were ordered. Our server never checked on us to see how the meal was. I ordered steak cooked medium. I told her I usually order medium well. She said no problem, we can throw it back on the grill if it's not cooked enough. She never checked back to see. If she did return to check up on us she would have known that 2 of the 4 cast-iron mushroom skillets did not come out with covers on their handles so one guest almost burnt their hand. One steak was extremely chewy. Another steak was not cooked medium rare. We most definitely had a disappointing visit from start to finish. Leaving...

Absolutely horrible experience tonight at the Montana's in Owen Sound. Had two separate orders for pick up, tried to pay for the first one but was unable to because they did not have Tap option. So I paid by inserting my debit card with my pin which was fine but I tried to pay for the second order with the same debit card but was unable to cause my card had been "Already tendered". The employee then explained that their machines do not allow the same debit card to be used twice and that most machine don't - I can't say I have ever ran into this problem anywhere else. The employee then suggested I use the ATM that was in the entrance, so I could be charged with a $2.00 fee. Finally the manager came over and void out the original order and re rang my order in. The whole ordeal to pay took over 10 minutes and so safe to say my food was cold by the time I went to eat it, as my food had already been sitting at the hostess counter when I arrived.
