I visited this new location in the Paradise plaza at McNamara and Topsail Rd. What a disappointment. I love Starbucks and enjoy their cinnamon dolce latte.
This place was very stark, not very inviting for a new "neighborhood" Starbucks coffee cafe. No interesting artwork, posters or decor to brighten the place up. The table I sat at was already scratched up. The "partner" clearing the table beside me just swept a stir stick onto the floor (that's a slip hazard). My table had crumbs on it that I just pushed aside with a napkin.
At 9:30 at night this place wasn't busy, you'd think the partners would at least wipe down the tables close to closing. There were 3 of them working the closing shift. Aldo no desserts available except for a piece of slightly dry coffee cake.

Read moreWent to this location 7:30pm on a Wednesday night. My wife and I were meeting another couple there for coffee. The tables were mostly full, so we took a table for two and pulled up a couple empty chairs. I placed my order on the app and while I was waiting I was told in front of the crowded dining room that I wasn’t allowed to move the chairs. This meant, four of us couldn’t sit down together. So we left.
