Subway — Restaurant in Penticton

GET THIS. we walked into subway by walmart. The employee was on the phone- which is fine.. A lady was already waiting in line for her to get off the phone when we came in..which yknow. Isnt good customer service. But definitely not the the purpose of this review. The employee put the phone between her ear and shoulder, and put a pair of sandwich making gloves on, while tallking on the phone, she then walked over to the "order" side of the sandwich line, finishing her conversation, and grabbing the phone to end the call and place it on the counter... Then proceded to touch parts of the "sanitized" ??maybe not sanitized cutting board and such. Before walking out the door, i kindly reminded her that she now needed to change her gloves before making that ladys sandwich.. Guarantee.... She didnt wash her hands before putting that second pair of gloves on either. Oct 05 745pm . Sorry to be that lady who might get WHO KNOWS WHAT. From...

Never come back to this store. This store only allows you to get 4 TYPES of VEGGIES on your sandwich. I had never heard of that rule from any other subway I have been to for the exact same sandwich. At that moment I thought it might be a new rule that just came out, so I checked subway’s website and app. It was a LIE. No such rule at subway at all! You can get as many kinds as you want on the app and other stores. I asked to talk to the manager. Bad customer service! The manager could only repeat himself “other people don’t know about the app blabla…”. Couldn’t communicate at all! Never come back! The worst subway experience...

I have never been told I am not allowed all the veggies I have asked for at a Subway store before. I chose a brisket for my meat that naturally came with red onion and green pepper but was told I had to have them and I was only allowed two more veggies. When I asked if it cost more for the other veggies I was shut down and told I am only allowed two more. I am not sure if this is a new rule? The service was cold and rude and received no explanation as to why. They gave attitude and frustration after eventually just letting me get what I originally asked for veggie wise to get on with it....
