No stars for this one as I am out a lid for my Tim Horton's Go-cup. I was treated like an old fuddy-duddy which I am not. The "older lady of darkish complection" took over from the "young girl with the vacant look - like a fawn caught in your headlights" - to get my order of a breakfast bun with nothing on it, a cup of coffee in my Tim Horton's Go-cup, and some Tim bits for my grandchildren. I could not have a medium coffee in my Tim Horton's Go-cup! (which I get regularly in Castlegar) - so I said okay to the large. My cup disappeared and reappeared without the lid. Now, tell me, who travels with a Tim Horton's Go-cup with no lid? Not this non-old fuddy-duddy grandmother. I even went to the car to see if I might have taken off the lid (no, not there) so I went back and asked again if someone would look for my lid. The darkish lady insisted it did not have a lid which may have been true if the vacant-looking young lady had removed it. The young lady peered at me even more vacantly with her mouth open and did not contribute to my problem. Okay - so I go to the bathroom and dump the upper 1/4 of the "large" serving of coffee (as it will spill in the car without the lid and leave this Tim Horton's into which I will never again enter. I did not notice the curry smell as it was...
Read moreAt this Tim Hortons drive-through, my coffee was mistakenly handed to the car ahead of me. That customer returned it â and instead of remaking it, staff passed the same cup to me.
This is not just poor service â itâs a breach of B.C.âs Food Premises Regulation under the Public Health Act. The law is clear: once a single-use cup or drink has been served to any customer, it must never be re-served to someone else. Single-use containers are exactly that â single use.
When I raised the concern, management told me I âcould have refusedâ the coffee. That shifts responsibility onto the customer and ignores food safety law. The responsibility lies with the business to follow sanitary handling protocols that protect every customer, every time.
This is a food safety violation, not a matter of preference, and it erodes trust in the brand. I have reported this to the local health authority so it can be...
Read moreI dont go to tim hortons often anymore because i cant remember the last time this location gave me what i ordered. Today when i went through the drive through, everything i ordered was read back to me wrong. After repeating myself multiple times and getting my order straightened out on screen, they still messed up my ENTIRE order. I ordered two bacon sandwiches that came as sausage sandwiches. My wrap was supposed to be sausage but came as a bacon. Honestly just seems like they dont care anymore. Probably the 10th time this has happened in the last few months⌠you guys need to start prioritizing quality over quantity like before. Whoever is running this location needs to hire some people that want to do their...
