Gogo China — Restaurant in Petawawa

Terrible. And I don't like posting reviews based on one visit. We had gone a few times a few years ago and it was okay. I now remember why we haven't gone back in so long. We went tonight (New Years Eve) after our other place had a longer wait than we were willing to do. Ordered sesame chicken (with fried rice and egg roll), thai basil chicken, and chicken wings. The thai basil chicken was an overcooked gluey mess that I couldn't even eat. The chicken wings were still all in one piece (drum, wing, and tip) and tasted slimy and strange. I'm told the fried rice and sesame chicken were edible. The egg roll was forgotten from our order.

Ordered for Mother's Day and everyone of us are now up from 11pm on (it is now 1:52am) with food poisoning. Including our toddler who thankfully barely ate anything but enough to make him sick also. We've ordered here multiple times and this is the first time there has been a serious issue. Being so busy with 2 hour wait times is okay during special occasions. Everyone understands that. Visiting family in Petawawa this past weekend and decided to treat everyone to Chinese. We've ordered from here before and it's always been okay, not great, but okay. This time a few of the dishes just tasted 'off'. Fortunately the little ones stuck to the chicken balls and rice because those of us that ate the off-tasting dishes were sick with food poisoning.
