The food is amazing. Never disappointed. You gotta try the pizza if you're a pizza lover. Their own freshly made dough made nice and thin. If you are a mushroom garlic lover try the portobello mushroom! Ohhh. And bacon too!! UPDATE Have gone back a few times this summer. Disappointed both times. 1st time we got fish and chips, which we've had before and they were excellent. Not this time! They were fish sticks, like the ones you get frozen at the grocery store and then heat them up. We went back the second time because this was always our go to place the many times we visit PTBO and wanted to give it another try. We got the calamari, which we've had before and loved it. After waiting over 40 minutes for this appetizer it was explained to us that it was over cooked a couple of times. We finally got it, was disappointed as it wasn't the same as before. Very thickly cut and chewy. I realize it wasn't the fault of the server, however, it would have been nice to have heard from her before the 40 minutes had gone by to at least replenish our drinks. Then we got our fave pizza, just not the same, and much pricier than before! Hopefully if we try again our experience will improve.

Very nice dining experience. Nice ambient lighting that is warm yet bright enough for conversation. I loved the unique cheese grater lighting, 3 sided fire place and warm colour palette. The food was delicious with many options. We started with a bowl of the Soup of the Day and a basket of Sweet potato kettle chips. The chips were surprisingly light and crunchy served with a perfectly seasoned garlic and dill sauce for dipping For lunch I ordered the grilled cheese with a roasted beet salad as my side. The 5 year old cheddar, brie, shaved apple slices and red onion jam made a fantastic blend of sweet and salty. The roasted beet salad served with arugula, goat cheese and candied pecans popped the flavours of the grilled cheese for a perfect combo. My spouse had the prime rib sandwich with garden salad loaded with fresh veggies. The sandwich was stacked with prime rib to a daunting height. Enough to fill up the hungriest of customers. Over all I would definitely recommend and we will visit again to try some of the dinner entrées. Thank you Jessica for the great service and 🫶 shout out to the kitchen for the delicious meal. We will be back.

Lunch at Kettle Drums was such a delightful experience, especially since we went during quieter hours. 🌟The ambiance, with its warm and spacious interior, was just lovely, and the staff was incredibly friendly, checking on us occasionally. I adored the attention to detail, like using graters as part of the ceiling decor – those little touches make a place unique! 🥘 Now, onto the food! While the menu didn't offer a wide variety, there were more items like steak after 3 pm. We indulged in some Sweet Potato Fries and Shrimp. The fries were presented beautifully – crunchy, flavorful, and a generous portion for one person. They were worth every penny! As for the shrimp, it didn't quite hit the mark in terms of both price and size, but it was still decent. 🍹 For drinks, I opted for the Raspberry concoction, which was pretty good; I'd order it again. My friend tried the Lavender, and although I didn't taste it myself, it looked and sounded delightful. A big shoutout to my friend Greatness for sharing your food and letting me snap some pictures! It made the whole experience even more enjoyable. 😁

0/5 stars.

Had heard good things about the place so I phoned in and made reservations for my wife's 40th. Asked for duck wings, were "sold out", the appetizers we did get were just ok. For our entrees, I ordered potpie, she the steak & shrimp and here is where it gets interesting - she orders it rare, and it arrives at the table well done side of medium rare, and stone cold. The sides were also cold, including my mashed potatoes. The steak was an insult. We sent it back, and get this, they return with the SAME steak, warmed up. Completely unacceptable. How do you get a rare steak from an already overcooked one? At this point, our disappointment and insult has caused us to lose our appetite. The cooks also simply reheated my potatoes. Also of note, 2 or 3 times prior to the steak fiasco, my wife and I felt ignored at our table, with empty glasses as the servers (Tinderellas) played on their phones and giggled at the bar. She did score one small point by offering my girl a sliver of chocolate cake with a candle, out of pocket to make up for our poor experience. Sadly by this point it was all too little and too late. We paid for our drinks and split. What a waste of our time and food. As we left the restaurant, Big Red the prostitute happened to be on the sidewalk with her dog and begged for a couple dollars so she could "get a burrito or something". The kitchen should have given our discarded meals to...

I took my Mom here for an early Mother's Day dinner on a Tuesday at 4:30. I made reservations but when we arrived we were the only ones there. I picked this place because my Mom likes wild salmon...which is on the dinner menu...so I thought it would be a good choice. Service was fast and friendly and Mom ordered the salmon and I order the Seafood Chowder and a Caesar salad. The portions were big but unfortunately the food resulted in food poisoning for both of us. The salmon arrived skin down. It was not crisp so it should've been removed if you're just going to leave it flaccid. The texture of the salmon was weird...like it wasn't fully cooked...and the vegetables were rock hard raw. Mom put in a valiant effort but cutting the veggies was a huge chore. My chowder wasn't milky white...sort of an off light brownish tinge to it...but I thought nothing of it at the time. Later that night when I was throwing up I realized something in the soup was tainted. I only ate 2 bites of the Caesar so it was definitely the soup. My Mom called me the next day and asked if I had had any stomach issues as she had been back and forth to the bathroom all night after our dinner. Kettle Drums has convenient free parking...nice atmosphere and our waiter was very nice but food poisoning will get you a One Star rating every time. Unfortunately we...
