So here’s the deal… I’m new to Peterborough. I’ve traveled the world, seen more bars than I can count… but last night… something happened.
It was a chilly Sunday (or Friday in my world… time’s a concept when you’re grinding nonstop)… and I walked into One Eighty Sports Pub. And let me be clear… the doors didn’t even finish opening before I felt it. That vibe… instant. Peace… safety… that rare sense of welcomeness. It hit me like a warm handshake and a nod from the universe.
Now full transparency… the gentleman working that night told me his name… and I forgot it. That’s on me. I’m working on being better with names, especially when someone leaves such a strong impression. Because he was everything you want at the end of a long day… calm… kind… professional. “Gentlemen, we’re coming up on last call. I can offer you a drink or two… how may I help you?” Class act. Me and my buddy Bad Fish shared a drink and walked out smiling.
Fast forward to tonight… we’d crushed a huge project, and I wanted to treat myself. Grabbed dinner at Agave… then searched “sports bars near me” to catch the playoff game. One Eighty popped up again. I walked in… and that feeling hit me all over again.
This time it was quieter… Panthers vs. Carolina on the screen… and I took a seat on the opposite end of the bar from the night before. That’s when I met Natalie.
Let me be real… Natalie stole the show. She’s not even technically a bartender… just someone stepping in to hold it down… and she absolutely owned it. Studying psychology… radiating warmth… welcoming energy… and sharp as hell. The kind of person you want to become friends with because she makes the whole room feel better just by being in it. An absolute rockstar.
Gracie was there too… calm… kind… balanced. She was the harmony to Natalie’s lead vocal. And together… the vibe was effortless. Real people… real connection… zero pretension.
And whoever is behind hiring this crew… take a bow. You’ve built something rare. One Eighty isn’t just another pub… it’s a warm… safe… positive pocket in the middle of a cold world. A place where you can walk in alone and still feel like you belong.
So here’s my takeaway…
If you want a safe… no-drama… feel-good kind of place where the energy hits you before the doors even close behind you… One Eighty Sports Pub is it. Whether you’re new to town… celebrating a win… or just chasing some peace in a pint… this is your spot.
Natalie… the heartbeat. Gracie… the harmony. To the gentleman from Sunday night… your kindness didn’t go unnoticed. And to the owner… props. You’ve built a place worth talking about.
Respect… and thank you for the...

Sadly the patio is the only good thing here. The food was pretty bland and all came out luke warm - fries, cauliflower tacos, cheesesticks. Cauliflower tacos were particularly bad- loaded with soggy, unflavoured spring mix salad. Sauce on them had zero flavour. Also ordered a mocktail which was flavourless and poorly made- chunks of coconut cream were curdled in it and it was otherwise mostly just a cup of ice. My husband had the pork tacos and he said they were fine but has now been up sick all night. Hostess service was also a mess. Rather than have a wait list for a table they just said to come back later. I said we had nowhere to go really and that we could just wait outside given several tables looked nearly finished. They then suggested we wait at the bar and someone would get us when a table opens. After a while I went back out to find many empty tables and the hostess seating people who had just walked up saying "oh ...I was just about to get you." ....sure. We were seated amongst several tables marked reserved that as our meal progressed they removed the signs from without seating anyone. I cant imagine that many cancelled. Seemed like they did it just for show. Ordering food was also slow to the point I was about to walk out since no one had come to even take a drink order after quite a while. Peterborough has so many great restaurants...this is not...
Read moreI haven’t had the time to leave a review until now, but my experience was unacceptable. I had booked the back room for a private party of 25 people for a surprise party a week prior and called the restaurant to make sure we were still confirmed on the day of considering this was a big reservation for a Friday night. I made sure to get the name of the lady I spoke to on the phone, upon arriving along with the 25 others the servers proceeded to tell me I was never booked in for the room and I also confronted the lady I spoke with on the phone and she tried to tell me we never spoke with eachother which was completely false considering I knew the servers name who I confirmed the reservation with prior upon arriving. They kept saying there was nothing they could do along with attitude, we ended up trying to fit us at separate tables defeating the whole purpose of the party being together. So we sat for about 10 minutes and decided to leave because the server who was serving us was also pushing for us to leave making comments that they had tons of people waiting for these tables because we were deciding on leaving. We ended up taking our whole party to a different pub because of the situation. It’s unfortunate because I love this place but the attitude of the workers and situation...
