New York Fries Lansdowne Place — Restaurant in Peterborough

This New York fries is staffed by very competent, courteous, and very friendly people. I Was a manager in the food business for 30 years and I am always impressed by the staff in this restaurant. They are extremely well trained, and always make me feel welcome and important. I make a point of acknowledging them when I go there. Richard, the owner, and Alexis, the manager , have done a phenomenal job in training their staff in great customer service. They have the best customer service in Peterborough. Thank you, Alicia for waiting on us today. You are lovely and a pleasure too do business with. You make your customers day as do all your fellow staff members. The store has a lot to be proud of. I don't like giving a 1 star, so I'll go with 2. I was at new York fries in the Lansdowne place mall. I walked up to the counter and the girl was with some other customers so I waited my turn. When she was done she told me she would be right with me. She then walked back towards the kitchen and was singing and dancing with another girl. This lasted about 5 mins. I'm for the most part a pretty laid back person, but I felt like walking away at this point. My kids love fries to I waited. Finally the girl took my order. She then walked over to make the fries and whole doing so she chatted with the other employee about what kind of alcohol they wanted for some party they were going to. My friend had fries here on Friday and I try one. They were amazing but my cheat day is Thursday. I craved those fries all week. Went in tonight and a small to go. When I started eatting them on the way home I notice most of them seemed undercooked/raw. They paled in comparison to the crisp and excellent tasting one I had just days before. Also the box wasn't even filled to the top. Compared to my friends small last week I got about half of what they did. Which was fine since I threw them out for being under cooked anyways.
