Decided to try this location one more time. Last three orders out of five since May have all been wrong!
Started back on mother's day, the daughters pre-ordered for 11 of us, so it was a fairly large order, which they had delivered. It was wrong, missing sides and the pies were all a mess! Tried calling the store to complain, but being mothers day couldn't get through, and understandably so.
Went back about a week later and explained what had happened - seemed they couldn't care less! Was quite surprised! Fortunately the order was right and the food was good and hot as usual!
Returned again first week of June, ordered thru the drive-thru, got home and was again wrong missing a side and no condomints. Called and complained and was thanked and told it would be taken up with staff and next time we order they'd make it right.
Went again near the end of June explained the previous issues, they couldn't find our name on their list? Kids were hungry so paid for the order and left. Food was good and hot, but you guessed it, no condomints (butter and sour cream).
Went there last night, ordered a family pack and extra dinner for one and some extra salads. When we got to window I explained the past, which they apologize for, stating that's been a problem lately! Told the girl I would not be leaving until I checked the order, to which she stated she would!
Well guess what, I'm glad I did check it - they shorted us an order of fries!
Asked the girl - I thought you were going to check this - I'm short fries! She just had the deer-in-the-headlight look. Handed me the fries and closed the window!
We had lived in the area for 27 years (recently moved) food and service has always been great, both eat in and drive- thru.
But, sad to say, unless we're visiting our children we won't...
Read moreWithout a doubt the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Been coming for years and took my family out. Firstly and most importantly, the person who I suppose was a ‘manager’ continually spoke to us in the most rude and condescending way. She should not be a restaurant Manager let alone in the service industry. If my Son was not with us I would not have bitten my tongue as I did. My mother asked for a dessert to go and Manager response was ‘we don’t do that one to go’ in a snarky tone. Well for years she has got this to go without issue. That was just one of many sarcastic and ill willed interactions we had with her. The tone she used was disgusting. Will never come to this location again and will be a long time before I venture into a Swiss chalet. Waited forever to get greeted at table, waited 10min to get drinks, our order or bread took 20min, food arrived with some people at my table not getting their main meal for 10min after the first people got theirs, all fries were over done, cold and dried out. Sent back and second batch was hot but the most dried out fries have ever been served, had to ask 5 times for a spoon for my Son, Caesar salad had next to no dressing on it, waited for someone at end to bring dessert and bill. I was with a 7 year old and 2 seniors as well…5 people in total. I had to get up to find someone 5 times. The large table adjacent to ours was left very dirty for our whole time. Keep in mind the restaurant was only 1/4 full. Not busy and no staff were helping each other or cared I suppose. After a heavily discounted bill (which I would have gladly paid full price for a good experience) the Manager didn’t have the decency to even visit the table again to apologize and see how...
Read moreI recently dined at Swiss Chalet and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Candace. Let me tell you, her service was nothing short of legendary! From the moment I walked in, Candace greeted me with a warmth that felt like a cozy hug on a chilly day.
Her knowledge of the menu was impressive; she could have been a culinary professor! When I asked for recommendations, she didn’t just suggest a dish—she painted a picture of it so vividly that I felt like I was on a gourmet adventure. Every time she approached my table, it felt like a visit from a long-lost friend, bringing not just food but joy.
When my order arrived, it was as if she had sprinkled a touch of magic on my meal. The presentation was exquisite, and each bite was a flavor explosion! Throughout the meal, Candace checked in with the perfect balance of attentiveness and respect for my space—she was like a culinary guardian angel.
By the end of my visit, I was convinced that Candace must have some sort of superpower. I left Swiss Chalet feeling not only full but also uplifted by the incredible service. If every server had her charm and skill, dining out would be a transcendent experience every time. Thank you, Candace, for making my day unforgettable! I can’t wait to return and bask in your radiant...
