Shawarma & pizza zone — Restaurant in Pilot Sound

Ok, I’m going to write a review because I know I’m going to be back! Let me start with a play by play of how it went down the moment I walked in to this place/establishment of Shawarma Box.

6:05 Pm July 28.2020 My wife, 2 kids and I are super hungry prior to picking up the kids from daycare which is located as well in the same vicinity of Shawarma box. We see that S.B (shawarma box) is open. Earlier that day as we dropped off the kids at daycare and said to each other “awesome we should try it!” So back at it again we just worked a heavy work day and we were wiped! As we walking in to S.B we were welcomed immediately, asked if we needed any help or recommendations about the menu. Then Islam the owner (sorry if I misspelled it my man) started going above and beyond with my kids and wife about sauces and topping. The girl behind the counter (sorry I didn’t catch your name next time!) super friendly and also nice to my 2 girls, being nice. So I thank you miss that gave my girls attention and all!

So digress, S.B is welcoming, family friendly, CLEAN very attentive to sanitation and know there’s stuff on what toppings/sauces pairs well with what you’re ordering!

I will definitely be going back soon the portion sizes were amazing still full and it’s 9pm! AMAZING AMAZING...

I had the Arabic Style Wrap after seeing the reviews. I thought it will be nice but i wasnt expecting it to be THIS GOOD. As someone from South Asian descent, you always find donairs and shawaramas lacking spices and its fine, its not the end of the world, i bring them home and eat them with green chillies.

However this wrap blew me away. They have so much going on in this one box!!

First the bread is not soggy like usually with donairs, it stayed crispy even after 45 mins as i travelled back home and ate it. The salad with fresh pita chips has some tangy sauce that reminds you of tamarind, excellent pairing. Pickles are soft and not too acidic. Chicken has nice spice and doesnt give you a tummy ache afterwards. Fries crispy and not oily at all.

My friend is coming to Edmonton and i already made plans to bring her here. !!! Thank you for putting this yumminess together!! Also the boys working there are nice and...

Just got home with my food. WOW, got the chicken wrapped, seasoned great, juicy, fresh and really good! The fries Seasoning is great too and they even gave me a couple sauces to dip the fries in 10/10 recommend

New owners, younger guys, really focused on customer service and doing things right! Everything was stored properly, clean, repairs made, equipment all working and hood fans turned on! Support these you guys so they can make it :)

Best Shawarma on the northside, at least that's what I think. Great portions, fresh, seasoned well and nice guys. My only feedback is everytime I asked for fresh pita for my hummus I get the fried pita! I'm sure it's a language barrier thing, so ill learn a few things in Arabic! Ha ha. Otherwise, definitely get...
