Le quartier is an alright breakfast and lunch place. We arrived at around 10:00AM on May 14 with two other invitees.
I ordered their Quartier special breakfast which comes with a banana pancake 2 bacons and sausages, 2 types of eggs and it comes with a slice of Watermelon and grapefruit, with 2 breads of choice and liver spread with beans.
Their food overall was good. The food was good although the egg portions for scrambled were quite small. It does come with two types of eggs though even though the eggs look smaller then the Sunnyside up choice. The bacon sausage liver spread was good for my liking. A little pricey though at $19.95 for me and with a large orange juice for $4.95. Its okay but I would not get the large orange juice and I did not know they charge for that.
Service was good. Our waitress was polite and kind she had a good energy which was good but pretty busy most of the time and fast as well.
The ambiance needs to be improved a little bit because it looked dark with the lighting. The layout was quite weird as well because you have a wall down the middle which was weird
The wash room was quite clean although they need better soap dispensers better lighting and a kitchen roll with an automatic door handle push option to reduce touching.
Other than it is a decent place for me. I would change maybe the service, the layout of the restaurant because its weird and just make it look nicer and brighter. I do hope this restaurant has zero waste and that it could adapt to climate change
I would be back here again in the near future and would...
Read moreFathers Day breakfast/brunch, restaurant is packed with families celebrating their fathers, were seated in the back table of 6, my father in law and sister in law joined me my wife and my 2 daughters, 5 & 1, after being seated and waiting for our waiter to take our order, I'm having a great time enjoying my girls, my 1 year old gets super excited when we're out and she sometimes lets out a scream, as most 1 year olds do, we were aprouched by the owner who asked if there was something he can bring us to put in her mouth to stop her from screaming because they were getting complaints!!?? At first I laughed because I thought it was a joke, but he wasn't kidding, so I asked him to bring me a muzzel. We were seated next to a table of two girls nursing coffees, clearly they were the ones who complained. I mean seriously, your at a restaurant on Father's Day!! The place was so loud with so many kids screaming, I wasn't so upset with the two women who complained, I get it, they don't have kids and don't understand or need to understand, what bothered me was the douche bag owner who had the audacity to ask if he could bring something to put in my daughters mouth, like a fruit or something!!! Zero people skills and zero class!!! And for that he lost my business, and I will go out of my way to let others know how they treat families with little children at this...
Read morePlease be advised this review is 100% based on the staff, hostess, waiters etc. The food was excellent “when it eventually arrived” and my respect goes to the chef who prepared my delicious brunch.
It was my first time eating here with 3 adults and 3 young children at 11am. The Hostess lack of experience, unable to keep track of people waiting was clearly apparent. After standing at the same spot for 45min, I was asked about 6 times….”how many people again? And I’m sorry for the wait”…while a family of 3 were waiting for their bill for 15min sitting at table for 8!? I even had a bus boy whisper to me….”bro you’ve been waiting a long time eh!” Where was the manager in all this? ZERO explanation except….”sorry for the wait guys” .
This is NOT acceptable when spending $40 for two people.
Word of advice for the staff & management
• Set expectations. “were full, you’re 6 people…wait will be 45min-1hour • Be honest if something bad happens “we got mixed up with our tables, will be another 15min • A pad and paper with the hostess can go a long way…..she was terrible • If you apologize 12 times to a family…. you’re clearly doing something wrong. Offer a complimentary orange juice, or a gift certificate.
Remember, a poor experience will last longer than...
