Pho House Ponoka — Restaurant in Ponoka

Enjoyed them for the first time and it was very pleasant. Menu is large and has pictures, which is greatly appreciated by those of us that are unfamiliar to the cuisine, such as myself. We had a rice bowl type dish both K1 & K2 (can not remember the name) which was very flavorful and large in size.

MINOR DETAIL: Only thing I was not a fan of, is that they have lemon water ready to serve for anyone just wanting water.. as in the water sits with lemon in it for awhile and after a bit the lemon starts to leave a bad taste in the water. Now, this is only a heads up to ask for no lemon for people, like myself, who are not a fan of lemon water to begin with, not a dig at them.

Dak Galbi should have been called Chicken Siracha. Siracha is great but..... the chicken was entirely boneless thigh/leg. Chincy.

I would suggest that the positive reviews at the beginning of this list are fraudulent for obvious reasons. The first five reviewers have made ONE review. EVER.

The PHỞ was acceptable if not for the over use of nutmeg and cinnamon, and under use of a true broth. Common mistake. I think this restaurant would be a 4 star if they stuck to Korean food. Vietnamese coffee was weak. WEAK.

Prices where...

We have been here before and loved it, but tonight was a strikeout. Salad rolls all stuck together and fell apart, so difficult to eat. Soup was not as flavourful as usual, which was disappointing. It took lots of housing, and Sriracha to get it close. Finally, the service was very slow. It took 15 min to get 2 cans of pop, and it was not as if it was busy. It's just frustrating that we drove from Edmonton...
