This place is authentic and absolutely EXCEEDED our expectations! You will not be disappointed.
The chicken tikka masala was dynamite, the lamb biryani was sensational, and their palak paneer is not on the menu but they will make it for you and it has a twist unique from any palak paneer you’ve had.
We didn’t opt for the buffet but I can report that the food in the buffet was not generic and looked just as appetizing so you can confidently select the buffet or go a la carte!
Hope you enjoy it as much as my family did - even our 5 year old loved it. If your kid is shy to try curry, order the raita yogurt to tone it down. Our girl loved the mint chutney on the veggie samosas which had their own flavour explosion and were a mighty size! However they also have a kids menu with regular stuff like mac and cheese and western mainstays for the less adventurous souls.
P.s. The quality of staff was surprisingly superior and professional for a small town atmosphere. As well, the owner came by to greet us which is a nice personal touch.
We left with a HUGE bag of leftovers! Plus? they wrapped it all up for us whereas everywhere else in Alberta makes you pack it yourself (even at nice restaurants). So, they are doing all the things… and order extra because Indian food this good is not easily accessible in Central Alberta! 🥘
Shout out to The Pavilion for a wonderful warm experience on a cold and rainy...

My fam is vegetarian and we’ve tried almost all the veg dishes. Best curries forsure are butter paneer (like butter chicken, not listed on the menu but he’ll make it), Kadai paneer cottage cheese (insanely good), and new 3rd fav is cottage cheese with spinach and pine nuts. The veg kofta curry, and coconut curry are also good. But those 3 are our go-to’s every time. The buffet is obviously really good but we prefer the menu so we can get all our favourite curries!
Price is about $20-25 a person with curries, rice, and bread if you eat with some friends, which is like the price to eat at the mall now-a-days so just do yourself a favour and eat here!
The owners naan bread is also the best you’ll ever eat and the coconut rice!! Ughhh yummmm! You WON’T be disappointed or find this quality of Indian food ANYWHERE ELSE! Also owner is...
