Wor Wonton soup is incredible- packed with prawns, pork, chicken, wontons and veggies. We order one and split it as a starter or it could be a massive meal for one person. The Cashew Chicken Gai Ding is one of our favourites- you just have to try it to get it. Amazing textures and flavours. Also ordered the Curry Prawn Fried Rice - yummy, very spicy! Lots of takeout orders at dinner time. We often eat in and are the only ones there, really good service and we feel special having the whole place to ourselves. Best Chinese food in Port Alberni!

NOT worth the money! We picked up chicken chow mien, chicken balls and 2 egg rolls, and it was over $40! The chow mien was almost entirely noodles, we struggled to find any chicken or veg in it at all. Chicken balls were 90% batter, and the egg rolls were the biggest disappointment; they were the small frozen ones you can buy in any grocery store, just deep fried.

Do yourself a favor and stear clear of this restaurant. It is horrible.

I would not, in all good conscience, even give this place one star but I can't post this review unless I do.

My sister and I were there recently while visiting Port Alberni. The waitress/owner was preoccupied with her cell phone to the extent that she served the only other customer in the place while talking on it. My food (szechuan beef) was inedible. When I complained, waitress/owner claimed it was my fault for ordering it. Although she said she subtracted that meal from the bill, we discovered later that she hadn't. We had to pursue the issue through our credit card company.

Amazing the Beijing Grand...

Food is honestly the worst Chinese I’ve had in my life. Ordered lemon chicken, sweet sour pork, veggie chop suey, Singapore style noodle and eight spring rolls. Sweet sour pork had barely any sauce whatsoever and had tendons in some of the pieces. Lemon chicken lacked any seasoning at all. The Singaporean style noodles were good but was ruined by the pieces of leather in it (beef strips). Veggie chop suey was the same as any chop suey you would get any where so I guess that’s good. Best part of the meal was the fortune cookies. The absolute shocker was paying $125 before the tip. I understand that the cost of everything is going up, but expect standards to...

It's what you'd expect from looking at the outside; a little run-down, but a decent-to-ok place.

It was a total of 10 of us. We got a big oval table on the first floor; a little tight in the seating arrangements. Arrived mid-afternoon, so it wasn't that busy at all.

The food was decent; the total price was reasonable.

We had such a good time conversating and all, I forgot to take pictures! Or really examine the food.

The waitress spoke about 85% english, but she got a "A" for effort, especially when my eccentric older mother-in-law was trying to order a vegetarian meal.

Overall, ok for a decent sit-down or some kind...
