Noodlebox — Restaurant in Port Alberni

I usually go all the way to Victoria to get Noodlebox, I'm a die hard fan..I even bypass nanaimos because I prefer the one in Langford, HOWEVER, I no longer need to do that as the one here in town is just as great! I'm so happy with the food, it's exactly what you expect from Noodlebox! The place will always be busy, it's that kind of place..therefore the wait time can be not so pleasant for some, but trust me it's worth it! They have forgotten my garnishes a couple times but the flavor was there so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. Every single Noodlebox I have been to, the average wait time for food is anywhere from 15-45 minutes, because they are so busy all the time... but let that speak for itself! Worst experience most of the time I call 1hr to 1hr and a half before close to order butter chicken for take out and its always the same girl telling me they are getting ready for close and are out of rice and do not want to make more or they don't wanna cook my nan bread and when I go to pick up my food everyone working that night looks mad and are not friendly what so ever and when I take my food home to eat it the chicken dose not taste cooked or just tastes off and I have gotten food poisoning more then once thought I would give them a chance but definitely a place not to go to after 6pm and I never write reviews but feels the need to...

Gotta admit i was pretty excited to see a Noodlebox in Port Alberni. Dinner couldn't come soon enough. Ordered a chili plum with pork via the app. App is easy to use. My chili plum, medium heat, was ready in 10 minutes. A friendly smiling face greeted me and served my order. It was so good! Love the chili plum box. So much meat and veggies - very pleasantly surprised! Heat was good, could have been a little spicier. Sometimes a medium heat will get my nose running and my tongue tingling. Not so much this time.
