Samz Neighbourhood Pub Port Coquitlam — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

My brother and I frequent Samz often, and when friends are in town from the island, we usually take them there in the afternoon for lunch and a couple drinks while watching a few games on the TV's .

Our server on Friday was very nice, and took great care of us while having to deal with one of our Island friends, and his Shenanigans lol.

I do believe our servers name was Alexandra, and was great while dealing with the one friend. I blame the Limes Alexandra lol.

We always have a great time at Samz and the Staff and everyone is always so accommodating

And of course some of us walk home as Samz is close by, and the others took Uber home. Always do it right or don't do it at all I say...

Forgot all about our lunch, basically it was just my brother and I who ate. I had the Samz Burger Bacon and Cheese with Shrooms with Fries, and my brother had some Hot Wings and deep fried pickles. Every thing came out hot and ready to go. And I have to admit I really enjoy the bottomless Fries as well ( great touch ) as our mom loves that as well when my brother and I take her to Samz for lunch.

We were back at Samz on Saturday May 24th 2024 and one of our friends is Vegan, and Samz accommodated him no problem at all and made a special Vegan meal just for him. He was extremely happy and really enjoyed it.

I had visited Sam's Neighbourhood Pub for a particular reason today and that was to experience a genuine sports venue. Today I had witnessed not only Vancouver Canucks last regular season game as a contender for a playoff position but to experience a sports bar on a reality level with sound. Unfortunately, I have found most establishments in the TriCity area tease the sports fans with elaborate array of televisions to allure sports enthusiasts with the provision of a sports atmosphere but in reality that is an illusion and a distraction under false pretensions without the sound and any promotion of any event whatsoever. Quite frankly, why have television sets in those venues and falsely demonstrate as a sports venue which is a shameful product of false advertisement. In any case, this establishment continues to be honest and straightforward in terms of representing a sports bar with great happy hours and daily specials with a kitchen and server staff that encourage a true and honest approach in delivering an atmosphere of a sports bar that is advertised by that establishment. My husband and I came in for Sunday breakfast/brunch . We both ordered the classic breakfast, I ordered mine with sausage and my husband got bacon. When the order arrived I didn't notice right away but noticed the sausage was a Bavarian sausage not breakfast sausage. I asked the waitress, she didn't apologize or anything just that's what we always have served like I should know. The waitress, I believe by the receipt her name is Lesli. She offered bacon instead and when brought out she just plunked it on the table , no apology at all....I have been in the customer service business since I was 18, I will be 60 next year. One thing to always do is apologize even if not your doing. ALSO your menu should say Bavarian Sausage 1 waste of money 2 is what if someone did not know it's a Bavarian sausage started eating and had an allergic reaction!!??
