The glowing commendations from other reviewers just made me want to visit the outlet, and as my friend's birthday was around the corner, it was the perfect opportunity. I got the chocolate fudge cake, didn't manage to try it but my friend said it was delicious. Rich, moist and delectable. Price: $20 Service: Such lovely and friendly people. So welcoming, chatting with customers and customers recommending different pastries for other customers to try. Felt just like home though it was the first time I stepped in. Would I recommend? Yes. Get your cakes, pastries, bread, meats, everything here. Lovely people. Delicious food. Everything is great about this place.

This is a great place to get all your deli & bakery needs. They feature a wide selection of meats (sausages to ham), cheese (even dill havarti), basic breads and sweet tooth fix. Donuts are soft to the bite, deli items are fresh and breads range from chewy to crispy. Those who remark about the "slow" service must realize that the place has a growing clientele but a shortage of staff. They are hiring but many factors are behind the shortage of staff (i.e. relief funds, integration issues etc) My take is just to be patient coz the team has been doing their best to get orders right, the quality of goods at par and the place clean Keep it up guys!

I'm giving this 1 star as one of the ladies serving was so bitter. It wasn't busy, and I was ready to order. Took a photo to send to my friend in the car, to see what he wanted, and the lady behind the counter shouted saying no photos or leave?? I was only taking a single photo of the food only, and made sure no one was in it, or waiting for me. Not a good experience, even if the pastries looked good, and heard they have some tasty things. But bitter staff lead a bitter taste in my mouth and I left without saying anything or purchasing. Attaching the photo I took, as other reviewers seemed to be able to take pictures as well.

The two new persian ladies working as cashiers are terrible. I just went to the store today and I when I asked for a 20 piece tray, I was told that they are sold out of most of the pastries so she couldn't make me an assorted tray. Then she said that we could pick from whats available in store to make us a 20 piece tray and so we began to pick some items. As we were picking and choosing, she told us that she can't give us a tray that would fit all of the pastries and she'll have to ask someone from the back of the house to give us a tray which made no sense. She then said that she could give us two small trays or a clear box so we chose the box and then after 5 minutes or so she said that they actually ran out of those as well so she could only give us a regular box. We then said ok to the box since there was no other choice. Also note that enduring this interaction I asked her how many we picked to which she replied 16 and then proceeded to say to her " ok so we have 4 more to make it a 20 puece tray" and she just agreed. Once she began to pack our box I realized that she's punching in the price for each individual item separately and so I asked her if she was charging us for each piece instead of charging us $40 for the tray. She then replied yes, I told ypu this before. She did not say or imply this to me nor my partner at all. I then told her that's fine we don't want to pay $100 for 20 pieces of pastry and she just gave us side eyes. I know this place is a good place and the product is amazing but the new workers suck at communicating and are rude. It's not my fault that ypu struggle with English and ypu choose to make me feel terrible and waste 15 minutes of my time for your terrible communication skills and attitude. I hope that the ownership sees this and trains these people to be...

I have been going to this bakery over the past 6 years. It use to have line-ups out the doors at all times and there selection was incredible! Today, walked in and 1 other person inside at 12:30? I then did my usual browse of the products and it looks like everything that used to be offered was cut down by half of the selection. The person who took care of me never smiled and seemed like it was a chore to get the items I requested. (No eye contact) Once everything was put together and they charged me I then discover they miss 2 items I asked for. When I made a comment there was no apology and one of the ladies says " Oh and we can add those two things now if you want" Wait a second and how could you have missed this when I originally ordered it and there was no one in the bakery. They were the slowest I have seen in 6 years! I think the community is putting it together and this bakery has lost is quality and customers service 100%. Also I am not even going to go into the price hike......everything is almost double the price. There are better options out there and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Another historic quality place gone due to cuts in quality and service but let's double our prices......No line ups says it all and people have...

I went here for decades and loved it when old owners had it. But why change so much recipes if it worked before? This was one of the only remaining old fashioned bakeries that you can get certain items. But I've now gone at least half a dozen times this year and each time has been more disappointing than the last.

My favorite items such as the Vanilla slice, was smaller, and soooo dry. The custard filling used to ooze out when you cut it in half. Now, there is literally nothing and I can break it in half with my fingers with zero mess. There is dry icing (glaz)on the top layer spead in a very thin layer. Its so thin it's translucent and doesn't even go to the edges or corner. It was so disappointing and terrible. Dry and crumbly.

The donuts; which used to be worth lining up for, have also deteriorated. Also dry and the donut itself is legit half the size of the donuts they used to have. The filling was firm and the donuts was stale and dry.

There are many more items that I used to love that I now hate too but don't want to bother typing anymore. Sadly, it's a wrap for me. I...
