My drink was made quick, but the barista on bar didn't look up to smile or say hello. When he finished my drink, he put it down on the handoff plane and didn't call it out or say my name to indicate it was ready. No words or indication of acknowledgement of my presence was made, not once.
The two girls that helped me at till both times that I ordered were very pleasant and friendly! Kudos to them for making me feel welcomed to their beautiful store.
It is very cold inside this location, as it usually is every time I visit. Tables and floors are very dirty. I was there visiting for over an hour and not one barista came out to sweep or bus tables and condiment stand. There are 6-7 employees working. There were also several spills all over the lobby floors and no wet floor signs were to be seen. The washrooms were in awful conditions with spills all over the floor; could've been water or urine, not sure at this point. There were also nasty stains running down the walls and toilet paper and hair all over the floors and sinks.
All in all, my visit was 3 stars because my drinks were both made very well, but overall atmosphere and cleanliness could have...
Read moreThey wrote a “hey” and drew a heart on our drinks when my husband went to pick them up, as we don’t normally go in with intentions of being flirted with, it made my partner very uncomfortable and he asked me not to order from here again.
Whether this was an attempt at free marketing (trying to cause people to post this online) or an actual romantic gesture, it seems a bit desperate and unprofessional for a “serious” company. If this is what you teach your baristas then I had a completely different idea of what their job duties were.
We know it’s not that big of a deal, however I’m just reporting this because whether you’re a man or a woman, you don’t go into businesses expecting to get intentional advances from the employees. Especially as a woman, I’d expect that minimum level of professionalism, so it’d be a double standard not to take my partner’s feelings serious as well, regardless of his gender.
This was on August...
Read moreI stopped by the drive-thru for a quick drink and ordered the brown sugar oat milk tall, requesting no ice with the ice on the side since other they often overfill the cup with ice. This is a request I make regularly at Starbucks, but when I got my drink, it was only half full. I pointed this out to the staff, and the employee explained that it was standard practice since the drink is shaken over ice, and if I wanted more, I'd need to pay for extra milk. I ended up paying $6.25 for a drink that was only half full. I asked to speak to the manager because I’ve never had this issue at other Starbucks locations, where I’m always given a full drink without being charged extra for the milk. Seems like I am not the only person they do this too by reading...
