A&W Canada — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

Chick at the counter tells me a bag is 25 cents, i then give her a quarter for it. Then she asks me for 3 more cents as its actually 28 cents. Lol, so i Say nevermind forget the bag. Then she says no no its ok ill give you a bag free. Then she serves me it on a tray. And then asks me if i really wanted a bag. Ok whatever, i get it anw is so stingy over 3 extra cents for a god damn bag. I also saw rats running around everywhere outside this place. And its almost everytime, this place has a rat problem forsure. Someone needs to call the health inspector on this place, infact i will. I know rats in your workspace is normal back in india but it isnt here. I literally saw them looking for a rat inside while i was forced to sit and eat inside because i couldnt get a bag. Lol and they were all laughing about it trying to hit it with a stick. And im not making this shit up this...

Stood at the counter to order, 2 girls working the drive thru, 1 man stocking items at the counter infront of us, another female working in the back. No customers service for 5 minutes. I was getting ready to say something as we were being ignored, then the girl at the back came forward to ask if we had ordered. She knew we did not as it was this person's job to work the front counter. Very unprofessional conduct and customer service. In the chubby chicken burger, the chicken was flat and thin, very little mayo and lettuce...basically tasteless. The fries were half full. It was Very disappointing and not worth the price we paid. The small seating area and condiments counter were clean. Bathrooms clean but floors and hallway were wet and slippery with no caution signs. Outside garbage cans were full, tables needed to be wiped. Parking is limited. I do not recommend...

I can't see enough about a&w. I was just on the highway driving by when I seen the sign and all I could think about was an ice cold root beer because we all know you can't get one any better than that a&w itself. The customer service is always top notch and service time is always really fast through the drive-thru and when I go in the restaurant is always clean and the food is always fresh I really never have a complaint they never forget anything in the bag like so many other fast food drive-thrus. That is why A&W is my number one choice when I'm looking for something fast to eat on the road. My favorite food is the Buddy Burger and my favorite treat is the apple pie and ice cream it is the best if you haven't tried it you have to it's a must have you will fall in love.
