Subway — Restaurant in Port Hope

Terrible service at this location 9/10 times. Try to order one of the new subs and wanted to substitute the cheese and add olives, got rudely told I can’t change anything with the sub only remove items, yet other locations haven’t had any issue, and it states in zero places including the website that you can’t change anything. Told the guy which toppings I wouldn’t want when I finally chose what I’d be stuck eating and he proceeds to try to put them on multiple times, also after toasting the sub without asking which has caused 1/3 of the sub to be crusty and crunchy which is pretty gross. Guess I should just fall in line and eat what they want me to because they know what I’ll like best, right?

10/10 wish we had a mr. Sub in town that was 24/7 instead because at least they make quality sandwiches, are respectful to customers and allow you to customize the sandwich to...

Open 24/7 which is great especially when you are driving long distance. Right off the highway, there area is brightly lit, plenty of parking available. There is some seating available along the wall, the bathroom was clean too.

Placed an online order,upon arrival, my sandwiches were almost ready. I got the sweet onion chicken teriyaki and steak and cheese. The teriyaki was probably the best sub I’ve had in awhile, it was filled well with ingredients, perfectly toasted and the cherry on top was the crispy onion which adds a crunch to the sandwich. This was tasty!

Wow! I knew a deluxe brisket sub combo would be pricey, but this is predatory! $27?? I got classic French/Greek Atlantic salmon last night with shallots, veggies, potato, rice and a roll for just $4 more! Plus it was served to my table!

These people have a lot to learn about what Canadians will put up with. Then the machine had the nerve to petition me for a tip starting at 15%???
